Review: Eastern unwilling or unable to provide basic information about previously installed well pump and well measurements taken during installation.

Eastern was called on wednesday, April 3rd and asked for information on my well and well pump after the well failed during an inspection for the house's sale. I was told I would receive the information by Friday, April 5th. I never received the information so on April 6th I called the office again to get the information. The gentleman there balked at first, it being Saturday etc., but finally did check their computer but could not find any record of my work. I told him I would find the sales contract and get back in contact with the original sales date to help him locate the records. After finding the original sales contract, I again called, and, at his request, emailed scans of the contract to them. I was told he would get back to me after investigating the issue. I have not heard from him/them.

The sales agreement on my house has been terminated by the buyer because of the well issue and my inability to provide him with information about the well and the well pump in a timely manner.

While the installation was some years ago (Nov. 29, 1999), I was assured records would still be available.

Desired Settlement: If this company is unable to provide the information requested, I should be advised in writing.

I do not trust them to come out to my home and check my well or the well pump.
