Sleep study performed and after it was complete, I received a call stating that my insurance did not authorize it.I had to get a sleep study in 2012. I was on my husband's insurance. Eastern ENT told me that they had to contact my insurance to get authorization before they can schedule it. I was told that it was authorized and the sleep study was performed. After the sleep study, days or weeks later, I received a call from someone at Eastern ENT that my sleep study was not authorized by my insurance and it was their fault that they missed it and they will probably write it off, because it was their fault. I continued to get billed for at. I wrote a letter explaining the same thing that I am writing today and no results. Now I received something from a collection agency for this bill.I have actually been back for a second sleep study, that my insurance paid, fitted for a cpap, paid, I think $120 copay. I can't even get a cpap, because they say that I owe them.Desired SettlementIt was their fault and they should write it off, as they indicated.Business Response We have resolved Ms. [redacted]'s claim and would be happy to see her back at her convenience so that we can get her the equipment she needs. She told me that [redacted] ENT will write the bill off and she apologized on behalf of the company that this wasn't resolved before now. She also invited me to come back for services.
