Review: This company has contacted me with the purpose to collect a debt. They did not have my number, so called family members to get it. They got it from my elderly mother. I returned their call to ask them first to stop calling my mother, and the representative I spoke with, Cynthia [redacted] told me I will not yell above her. She was yelling as she said this. I asked if the call was being recorded for my protection, and she hung up on me. I immediately called back to make a complaint against Ms. [redacted], and the receptionist put me back over to Ms. [redacted] who after I said I did not want to speak to her, she hung up on me again. I called back, and [redacted] answered, he transferred me to Ms. [redacted] after I asked to speak with a different representative, and she hung up on me again. I called back, the phone was picked up and I was hung up on immediately. This process started from 11:19 to 11:24. They then called again at 1:06pm, which I let go to voicemail. The message said I was facing legal action. I called immediately, and spoke with [redacted], who was equally as unpleasant to deal with as Ms. [redacted]. He refused to give me any information regarding the debt and said they were just to let me know to be prepared to go to court and I could get all the information I needed regarding the situation, there. He did tell me that Bank First underwrote the loan. I finished with Mr. [redacted] and called Bank First immediately to see if they had more information. I called the Nebraska office since it is the one listed on their website. The woman that answered said that she received a similar call this week along the same lines as mine, and that it sounded like a scam since they do not underwrite loans for credit cards, or for loans that were the amount they claimed mine was, which was $1,500 and some change. She suggested I report the company to the Revdex.com.

Review: I have been recieving threatening phone calls from this company saying to call them about a suit being filed against me and high fines accompanying the lawsuit. I call back and I am told my own social not asked for it. I am told that I can go to court or pay them a settlement fee today. I tell them I dont even know who they are and why they are contacting me. They tell me its over a car my daughter had repoed and included in her bankruptcy over fifteen years ago. In 1997. I do not even believe I was on the loan with her. I ask why I have never recieved anything and they tell me they have been mailing me court requests. I ask what address they are sending that too and they say some strange number and street but dont even say city or state. I tell her she has the wrong address and she yells at me and says see you in court your court papers will be mailed in the next fifteen days. I call back asking for the full company name and address and they refuse to tell me said it was for security purposes. Then proceed to hang up. I call back and get a number and street and when I ask for more she hangs up. I call again and I get a po box and a new street and state. then I call again after looking online about statute of limitations and they are way past Missouri's 10 years. So I call and tell them they are beyond the statute of limitations. The lady proceeds to yell saying my lawyer was lying and who told me that because that is a lie. And guess what I get see you in court and hang up. I am so frustrated with this whole thing. If they were legitimate they would update my address, ask for verification information to prove it is me, and talk to me about the processes of this whole thing. I am asking for help her to find out if this is legit and if so what court and what date I should be there.Desired Settlement: I would like them to be forced to stop harrassing me. And if they are scammers not to be able to do this to someone else. I would like to know how they have my personal information.
