In response to [redacted] complaint, The money he gave me was towards a partial payment for the labor that was involved in the initial diagnosis of the fireplaceI had spent more then hours and multiple trips to the customers house for various issues with the fireplaceI advised the customer from the start that the part might not be available any longerI let the customer know after week of trying to order the part that I could not find it anywhereAfter that he somehow thought I owed him money, if anything he owes me for more hours labor for repairing a remote for the fireplace that I never billed him forThank You, [redacted]

Review: [redacted] from Eastern LI gas services came to repair a gas fireplace. He said he needed to order a part . This was on Dec. *,2014 . I gave him a deposit of two hundred dollars. He said he would call and schedule a date to finish when he got the part which would take about one week. I haven't heard from him and it is now Jan.**,2015. He hasn't returned any of the calls that both my contractor and I have made to him. I think I have been more than patient and I would like a refund since I have had to call and schedule someone else to do the job. Thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the two hundred dollar deposit.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Eastern L I Gas Services regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted] I have called another co. To do the repair. They fixed the problem and did not need to order a part. It appears that L I gas services couldn't figure out what was wrong and should have told me they couldn't do the job instead of stalling and ignoring my calls. [redacted] claimed the co.
