IN THE COMPLAINANT CONTRACTED WITH A CONTRACTOR TO BUILD A NEW RESIDENCE, WE ARE THE HVAC CONTRACTOR FOR THE PARTICULAR CONTRACTOR THEY CHOOSE COMPLAINANT TOLD BUILDER'THEY DID NOT WANT US ON THE JOB SITE, CONTRACTOR TOLD THEM WE WERE GOING TO DO THE INSTALLATION COMPLAINANT RESPONDED BY
SAYING JIM AND LESLIE BETTS WERE NOT ALLOWED ON THE SITE
WHEN COMPLAINANT CALLED (2014) REQUESTING SERVICE SHE WAS TOLD SHE WOULD HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE SHE WAS OUT OF HER YEAR LABOR WARRANTY' (WE CAN DENY ANY CUSTOMER FOR VARIOUS REASONS ONCE THE LABOR WARRANTY IS OVER)HOWEVER, SHE COULD CALL ANY AUTHORIZED TRANE DEALER THEY CAN WARRANT PARTS IF REQUIRED
COMPLAINANT ONLY CONTACTED THE BUSINESS ONCE, SHE DID CALL THE OWNERS WIFE WHOM WASN'T WORKING @ EASTERN SHORE ENERGY AT THE TIME, AND HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE 5ERVICE REQUEST

In response to the complainants' letter dated May 20, 2014, Eastern Shore Energy Incdid fulfill the contract with the contractor As stated before service can be denied after the one year labor warranty has expired which it hadAs for the conversations with B*** *** she was not working at the time the call for service was placed, therefore anything said bebveen the two haven bearing on this complaint

Many items in the response are falseIf I did not want Eastern Shore Energy on my property, then why would I allow them to install my heater/ac? They would have been denied access from the startI just requested that *** *** *** *** have nothing to do with my transactionThe people listed above were being sued for fraud, why would I want them to touch anything with my name on it? If the company planned on not fulfilling the contract from the start, they should have allowed another "certified" company to install and ultimately take payment for the installationWhy deny service after you have already been paid for the installation? Nothing had changed from the time of install to the time I placed the service call in Also, I did speak with ***, the owner's wife on the day of the service callShe said she did not agree with what he was doing and she would talk to *** and call me backWhich she didShe told me I would need to call another companyNot only do I have the phone records to prove the call but I also have a Facebook message from *** *** from April 16th, appologizing for her husband's behavior and that the situation "should have no effect on the work that was done or that needs to be done on the heater/ac unit." I do not agree with the response from Eastern Shore Energy and I wish for the complaint to remain openThe public should be aware of a poor business like this

Review: Eastern Shore Energy installed the heating system in my house, now 16 months old, and refuses to service the system which broke on 4/16/14 and is covered under a parts warranty. The reason for denial of service is because my brother filed a lawsuit against their receptionist, Leslie Betts and late husband. Even after contacting the business again, I was refused service by [redacted] and told to call a local business down the street. At that point, the business would do nothing further for me, even though my heater was under a parts warranty. My brother suing their employee has nothing to do with my heater and if they were going to deny me service, it should have been at the initial install, not the service appointment.

Eventually my builder came to an amicable resolution of having the parts warranty transfered to another vendor. At this point, I am happy with that resolution because their business is incompetent in my book anyway, hence my heater breaking at 16 months old.Desired Settlement: I desire a written apology as well as a new written agreement, which includes the details of the warranty transfer.
