Review: We had a fence with 2 large driveway gates installed by this company in the last quarter of 2012. The product has a lifetime warranty from cracking and peeling. In February 2014 one of the driveway gates developed a large crack in the bottom rail. I sent an email to the Sales/Operations Manager from Eastern Shorn who emailed back that they were considering this a product defect and would be replacing the gate. Each further contact with him was met with the promise of quickly replacing the gate but this never happened. Several months ago I finally emailed the owner but did not receive a response. I then phoned him and he said he never received my email. I explained the situation and he said he would stop by and look at the gate. After a few follow up phone calls another gentleman from Eastern Shore called me assuring me that the gate would be replaced by the end of August. I placed another follow up call to him and he said that the gate would be coming in the next week but they had been busy which was why the end of August date didn't happen. To date the gate has still not been replaced after 6 or 7 months of promises.Desired Settlement: The gate to be replaced as promised.

Review: On Feb 15, 2013 Eastern Shore Porch and Patio installed a fence around a newly built pool on my property. The fence looked great.

Fast forward to Monday March 3, 2014

My electric went out during a snowstorm. I called Choptank Electric, my Co-op provider, and they were on scene within 15 minutes. They found the breaker on the transformer was flipped. They did numerous tests, and located the source of the fault. When they dug, they found that the fence post had been placed on top of my electrical service, and then poured over with concrete. Over time, this wore through the insulation on two of the service wires, causing the power loss.

A portion of the fence had to be removed for the wire to be repaired. Once the wire was repaired, the electric company left the portion of fence for the customer (me) to repair. The section of fencing in question is less than two feet wide, and has only two posts.

Since the problem was caused by an erroneous install, I expected some sort of resolution from Eastern Shore Porch and Patio.

I contacted ESP&P next day, on Tuesday 3/4, and spoke with [redacted]. They asked me to email pics, and I left a phone number. No response to either.

A few days later, on Thursday 3/6, I again contacted ESP&P. I again spoke with [redacted]. He confirmed that they had received the email pictures, and was surprised that I had not heard back from a manager. He said he would leave a message, and I should hear from someone that day.

It has now been three weeks since the event. Eastern Shore Porch and Patio has shown POOR customer service by not only failing to stand behind their product and install, but for failing to even return a customers call. I have an in-ground pool that does not have the proper fencing around it that is required by law. I thought I was hiring professionals to install my fence, but now I am thinking otherwise.Desired Settlement: I would like the small section of fence properly re-installed. It does not appear to have been damaged during the excavation that took place on my property.
