For [redacted] [redacted]'s reservations we did not deal with them directly because their relative [redacted] never provide their contact info. (i.e. phone or email address) , [redacted] was the only one who had made all arrangements with us. The day we had issued the tickets (Sep **) we had sent [redacted] a...

final schedule with all the guests names and he had reassured us twice the names were correct. Our Company had not received ANY kind of notice until 3 days after which was the same time we received both [redacted] [redacted]'s passport copy. [redacted] (the husband of [redacted]'s cousin) never advised the name he provided did not fully matched the guest's passport before we issued the air tickets. No one with our agency was ever informed beforehand that the names were incorrect.After we confirmed that the names were in fact incorrect we contacted the airline to change the name. We were informed the name change fee would cost $250. We informed the guests about this charge but they refused to pay this amount, stating it was our company's fault and accusing us of knowing from the beginning the name was spelled incorrectly but this is all false. Since they refused to pay the name change fee we left the reservation as is and didn't change anything. In addition, we are very serious about the names on all bookings. No one with our agency will advise a guest that a name correction request is not an issue. Our agent had asked [redacted] for passport copies of all guests he booked since he made the cruise reservation. It is about the end of August. However, ** & [redacted] didn't send the passport copy until Sep ** which is 3 days after their air tickets were issued. Therefore, we have no choice but to verify the names with [redacted] and believed what he told us is all correct.We are so sorry about how they feel and what have happened to their booking experience with our agency. However, we had made every effort to confirm all their names were correct on all our bookings with [redacted]. We hope everything will go well with **. & [redacted].Thank you for your understanding & patience.

 The agency continues to lie about whether or not my cousin's husband gave the correct name. My cousin's husband informed the agency twice of the misspelling and both times they failed to adequately remedy the situation. In the end we chose not to go through the agency to have my name corrected on my airplane ticket because of their unethical practices. Instead, we contacted the airline directly and the airline corrected the name on my ticket for the cost of about $100.00 and a day wasted taking time off work to drive to the airport to speak to the airline employee to correct my ticket. My husband, my cousin, her husband and I are hard working people who have saved for a long time to afford this vacation, but this unethical agency has turned what should be an enjoyable experience into a stressful, time-consuming, frustrating and disappointing experience. This agency has put their bottom line ahead of their customers.

Regarding **s [redacted]'s air ticket we followed the proper guild-lines given to us from the airline to change the name on the air ticket for her. We did all that we could within our authority to help her and followed the change fee amount ($250) given to us from the airline. The clients informed us that they had changed the air ticket themselves at the airport, we don't know how the airport conducts themselves because we deal with the office. We had contacted the airline asking them why they changed the air ticket because this is against their policy, they have to go through our agency before they make any changes. They told us the guest was belligerent at the airport and making a scene, so to placate them the airport agent changed it for her. In conclusion, we will suggest when **s [redacted] make any future travel purchases she does it herself and doesn't count on others help. They also should give the passport copy to the agent at the same time when they make the reservation. I hope they will understand how important it is to provide sufficient information and be more cooperative with agents in the future.
