Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2016/09/20) */
Our company provides below cost vacation packages in exchange for an agreement to attend presentations for various travel products and incentivesThese packages typically contain lodging and entertainment options, so in that sense, we also
provide the same concierge arrangements as a full service travel agency, with its associated personnel costs
Once travel dates are confirmed, an appointment is then made with a Sales Manager for the availability of a salesman, to the exclusion of other packages as there are only so many presentation slots available for each day
Thus, to insure a package purchaser's compliance with their end of the bargain, we require their agreement (well documented) to certain re-alignments of costs in the event of breachThis includes the advertised retail price of their package, plus a *** "breach fee", less what they paid for their packageStated another way, this puts a negative incentive upon them to carry out the bargainWe get penalized by other companies for "no shows" and "non-qualified's", both by sales organizations as well as lodging and entertainment venues
The vast majority of families are motivated by a sense of responsibility to fulfill their duties to comply and we regret the necessity of having to impose the general controls necessary to protect our business and its expenses, just because of that small percentage of unethical folks out thereMr& Mrs*** told us they made a certain dollar amount of income, so we paired them where they qualified to tour based on that factUpon arrival to tour Mr.& Mrs*** gave a totally different dollar amount for income and were disqualified for incomeTrophy Run representatives go over every aspect of what is expected from our guest verbally and again in writing before arrivalIt is unfortunate that the *** exaggerated their income to receive a discounted packageTrophy Run stands by the charges for non compliance
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/09/26) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was charged for a service that I did not receiveI complied with what Trophy Run asked of meI was willing to take the tour per Trophy Runs requestUpon arriving to the tour location my husband was given a clip board to complete a form of documentation, once he completed the form we were then told that we did not qualify and that we would not be permitted to take the tour and the representative instructed us to report back to Trophy Run.We left and contacted Trophy Run wanting to know why and for what reason we were not allowed to take the tourThey mentioned something about our income, which is the first time we heard anything concerning our incomeAnd that's when Trophy Run told us that we would be charged *** I totally felt that that was wrongI immediately checked out of the lodging hotel, we did not attend any type of entertainment venues activities, nor any type of meals that was provided by Trophy Run was eatenI feel Trophy Run is running a fast scheme business and getting over on consumes in every way possibleMy husband and I did not exaggerate our income to receive anything nor are we unethical citizensTrophy Run is just seeking anyone that they and do a quick scheme onIf we were interested in trying to get a discount package my husband and I could have stayed the entire weekend, preceded on to the entertainment event and went to enjoy the dinner that was includedWe was so disappointed with the way things were handled and the way we were looked upon that it made us feel not "GOOD ENOUGH"to visit Branson MissouriTherefore we immediately returned to the hotel to retrieve out belongings and checked out of the hotelUpon checking out of the hotel the front desk attendant informed me that I wasn't scheduled to check out until the next day, however I felt an urgency to get out of BransonWe still feel that Trophy Run is operating a quick scheme business, and if consumers do not do any research and are not totally aware and alert concerning these types of offers if is very possible and easy for consumers to get trapped or caught in a quick scheme transaction
My husband and I was very disappointed with the outcome of dealing with Trophy RunAs stated we felt it was an urgency to get of BransonConsumers Beware of Trophy Run
Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2016/10/07) */
***Document Attached***
The company must abide by its final decision to not refund
Additional documents are attached clearly defining that the legal terms of the vacation package were not met

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2016/11/23) */
*** purchased a package for a total cost of $*** which included the upgrade to a jacuzzi roomThe package included $** entertainment credit which was not enough to cover the cost of *** *** tickets so she was charged the difference
of $*** with her permissionWhere more than one card was given for the charge of $*** it has been corrected as to which card *** wanted chargedA presentation was required to receive the package at a discount but The *** did not attend the presentationWe included a welcome letter with an after hours emergency phone number along with a GPS address date and time listed to the presentation as well as a map marked clearly to the tour destinationFor "breech of contract" there was a charge of $*** this is non-negotiableThe *** were told on a recorded line of charges that would be applied if they did not attend the presentation (they gave a card to be placed on file for this purpose)so we did have their permission to charge the cardThe *** did not utilize information in their package to find the location (including the after hours emergency phone number which they did not call) to the presentationThe *** received everything they were promised
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (**00, 19, 2016/11/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First and foremost, Trophy Run did not have authorization to make additional charges to my bank cardI sent an email to *** instructing her to destroy my card number after duplicate charges were made(Copy sent to Revdex.com)Yes, the charges were refunded; however, the card number should have been destroyed upon my requestAt no time did I provide my card number to be put on file for any reason
I did purchase a package for $** which included Top tickets, $** dinner voucher, $** entertainment credit, Branson Gift Card, nights at *** *** and a bonus weekendI also purchased an upgrade to a Jacuzzi room for an additional $**The only items used were the nights at *** *** and $** entertainment creditSo in fact we did not receive all items promised(Copy of confirmation letter sent to Revdex.com) I understand that attendance to a presentation was a condition to receiving the package at a discounted rateWe had every intention of fulfilling our obligation; however, we were given incorrect informationA yellow sticky note was placed on the top of the form emphasizing the importance of this paper; it stated "Bring this form to the tour", the address on the letterhead is the address we went toI called the number on the letterhead and left a voicemail asking for a return call so I could ask for directionsI did not see the correct address until Monday when it was pointed out to me while we were at the Trophy Run officeThe information I was given is, Trophy Run would be closed Saturday when we arrived and there would be an envelope with our names on it inside a wooden box outside the officeThe envelope contained our $** food voucher and certificate for *** *** tickets and other pertinent information for our weekend, i.e....hotel information, Branson Gift Card and booklet, bonus weekend bookletI was not told about the emergency number and did not see it on a single sheet of paper included in the contents of the envelope
My husband and I went to the Trophy Run office Monday morning to speak with ***, since she is the person I had had the most contact with, to let her know what had happenedThe secretary, I don't recall her name, called the tour people and informed them of the situation and called ***She explained that the address on the letterhead was incorrect and needed to be updatedWe asked if we could attend a presentation later on Monday but were told that we could not attend on the same day as our departureBecause we were supposed to receive a bonus weekend, we offered to attend during that trip as an alternative solution
I feel that Trophy Run should acknowledge that errors were made and incorrect information givenThey should take responsibility for how this situation was handledI believe that because of the conflicts and mistakes that were made prior to our trip, *** had harsh feelings toward us and therefore had no intention in finding a workable solution
Regarding the $*** charge, I looked on the internet and the hotel rate is $** per night, $*** for nightsI had already paid $*** for the hotel and upgrade and $*** in addition to the $** entertainment credit for *** *** tickets, for a total of $***Everything else was returned unused or never receivedHow can *** justify instructing the secretary to charge me an additional $***? Especially after I specifically told her she did not have permission or authorization to charge my card, while I was at their office
I am asking for a fair resolution to this complaint
Final Business Response /* (4000, 21, 2016/12/02) */
ON a recorded phone conversation we were given a card to keep on file for no show purposesWe do not make reservations with out a card on file for this very reason
By ***'s own admission the correct information was on the arrival letterThe just didn't read itThe arrival letter states the gps address for their hotel on the left and on the right side the gps address, date & time for the tourOn the same letter is the after hours emergency phone numberWhen arriving after hours it is ultimately up to the guest to know where and when their tour is, simply by reading the arrival letter(we also include a map with it marked clearly where the tour is located)As I stated all information needed was on the one letter placed on top of everything in her packageAll gifts wee included in the packageThe fees are $*** + the retail price of the package minus what they paid
Trophy Run stands by their "breech of contract"charges
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 23, 2016/12/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
To whom it may concern,
Regarding the arrival letter; it would have been helpful if *** or *** had mentioned there would be an arrival letter included in the envelopeI had a confirmation letter (copy sent to Revdex.com) with our hotel reservation and other items listedAlso, Trophy Run was aware that I had been in contact with the hotel, as there were mistakes made with our reservationI received the address and check in information directly from *** ***Upon opening the envelope my attention was drawn to the form with the yellow sticky note on it stating "Bring to the tour with you "The address on the letterhead of this form is the address we went toThe form had a printed tour date and time and what I thought was the tour addressThere was no reason to look for an additional letter or piece of paperI thought I had all the information needed
The next thing I would like to address is that I gave Trophy Run my card number to purchase the package not to keep on fileAt no time did I consent to it being kept on fileHowever, after the unauthorized charges and then duplicate charges were made, a verbal request and an email with instructions to destroy my card number were made to *** is aware that there were mistakes made and of the controversy surrounding the details of our tripShe is aware of the unauthorized charges madeShe indicated this when she answered my email stating that the charges were correctedUltimately, on Monday October 24, after much disagreement, I specifically told *** not to charge my cardI did not and do not agree to the chargesShe instructed the secretary to charge the card anywayI still have not received an explanation detailing how *** arrived at the amount of $***In her rebuttal she claims that all gifts were included in the packetThere were only items received and benefitted from; the night hotel stay and the $** entertainment credit*** took everything else back and verified that they were unusedTo indicate otherwise is completely and misleadingThere is no way to justify charging full retail price for something that was returned or never deliveredI stand by my statement that there was no breech of contract because of the incorrect information provided to us
Even if the correct information was included somewhere in the packet; the incorrect address should never have been includedAt the very least, it should have been whited out, marked out, a note beside it, something stating that it was the wrong addressInstead of doing that, Trophy Run drew my attention to the form containing the incorrect address, by putting a yellow sticky note on itThen, after the fact, told us that the correct address, the one needed to attend the tour was on another paper
I believe that by making the phone call and leaving the message asking for help and directionsAnd by offering to attend a presentation later in the day or during the bonus weekend promised in our packet(not received), we did everything we could to fulfill our obligation to Trophy Run

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2016/11/10) */
We regret that this customer did not honor their package agreementThe package contained a clearly marked map together with the street address and timeThe complainant's traveling companion reported that "he had used discount packages fifty
times and no company had ever charged him for breaching the agreement"This was a clear case of abuse

We bring almost two thousand families to Branson each year, and only have a very small percentage who breach, then complain - .0025% or 1/of % of our guests have complained about being penalized
And only about .005% of all our guests end up breaching their agreement

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/11/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
To whom it may concern, (Revdex.com of Missouri), 11/16/
I am writing in response to Case #XXXXXXThe complaint filed against Trophy Run and their replies to the package involved is absolutely not trueWe tried to call them the day we were supposed to be there and could not reach anyoneWe were running a few minutes lateWe called two after hour numbersI left a message on one voice mail and called the other numberThere was no answerWe went to the Trophy Run Sales Center and they looked at our paperwork and called the person involved that we were there at the wrong locationThe person representing Trophy Run stated that we were too late and that we should call her on Monday to rescheduleWhen I called on Monday from Maumelle, AR I told her I was *** *** calling back for *** ***, my wife, she immediately stated to me that I missed my appointment and would be charged the full price of *** We had already paid *** (or *** to attend the presentation at TROPHY RUN and we paid additional monies for the cabin we stayed atI told her we were more than willing to come back and do the tour that we went to the wrong place and were running a few minutes lateHer comment to me was that they were booked TWO weeks out and I was just going to have to pay the full priceI saw that she had already charged our account first thing Monday morning before we had a chance to explain the situation to her, without even speaking to my wife or myself
When I was originally screened for this package I was told this package would be at Trophy Run where we had stayed before by doing an exchange on our time share that we had soldIt was a beautiful place and that is why we wanted to look into purchasing itWe then find out that this was not the caseWe have been to many other presentations and have attended the presentations without any chargesThe conversation was not what she conveyed in her responseWe have bought two vacation packages and a Timeshare in Florida which we soldThe way I see this, all we have to do is attend and then decide if it is right for my family or notWhat concerns me is this person would not work with us in anyway and refused to try to and work this outI will be in the Branson area this Saturday and Sunday and would be more than willing to attend a presentation
All of the paperwork had Trophy Run on it (except a 1/sheet with a map on the back) and everything we had been told said we would be touring Trophy RunThere were 3-sheets and honestly I didn't even see the 1/sheet of paper attachedIn fact, *** at Trophy Run Sales Center acted like she had never seen this property description or paperworkTHE OTHER PROPERTY WAS NEVER MENTIONED TO USTROPHY RUN is the only place we heard or we would not have agreed to go to the presentation
We are not going to drop thisAs I said we have been to many presentations and have never been treated like thisWe have always gone to the presentationsWE HAVE NOT ABUSED THE SYSTEMWE HAVE BOUGHT ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONSThis time we were at the wrong location without given the opportunity to attend at a future dateIt was an honest mistake
Our details of our trip were communicated on the day we were supposed to arriveWe didn't get any advance notification of anythingWe didn't find out what shows we could attend until the day of arrivalI have copies of everything that I received and would be more than happy to send to you
Also, I want a copy of their Board of Directors with their addresses
Please let us know if this is at all possible or if we can do it at a different dateYou can reach me at the following number: (XXX)-XXX-XXXX

After reviewing the latest response from Mr*** we have found no additional facts which changes our original positionThey had information, at all relevant times, providing clear instructions of how to complete their bargainThey didn't comply
Further, they also lodged a chargeback, which has been ultimately decided in our favorThis further involvement of the Revdex.com is a simple failure to accept accountability
Although they have offered to come back and attend a presentation, which offer is acknowledged and appreciated, we cannot accept that as a compromiseAmong other reasons, it overlooks our out of pocket costs and ignores personnel time spent on their efforts to overturn surcharges."
