Eastpointe Financing

Review: Completed an online application in January for an unsecured installment loan. Received a call a few days later from [redacted] with Eastpointe Financing, saying I had been approved for $8,000, contingent upon an initial payment of $575.00 to cover the first 3 months of payments (in lieu of collateral). I was provided a loan agreement contract, with explcitly stated terms, to substantiate the $575.00 initial payment requirement. I signed and dated and returned the loan agreement. I made a funds transfer through [redacted] of the $575.00. After continuous contact with [redacted], was then told that I needed to transfer additonal funds due to my credit risk. I have ultimately transferred them, through [redacted] and [redacted], approximately $3,400. All of which, I was told, through phone conversations with managers [redacted] and [redacted], would then be deposited into my acccount along with any money transfer and service charge fees, and the $10,000 loan amount (this was increased to $10,000 during this whole ordeal, rather than the $8,000....supposely the lender had approved me for the additional funds).Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund, as I had been promised my [redacted] and [redacted], as of my last phone and email conversations, for the full amount of all money transfers made to Eastpointe. This amount totalls approximately $3,400. I am requesting this money be deposited into my bank account or mailed via certified check.
