This company claims that I owe them for a months rent. After making two payments to the collector I realized I never owed. No one has provided me with a lease from the dates they are saying. This issue is causing me to not be able to purchase a home without having my debt to ratio income so high. I have applied for apartment and I quickly get denied. This is fair. I left, told the leaving office I would be leaving and it was fine. I don't want any money back just this removed from my credit reports.

Good Afternoon Ms.:
I am in response to a letter I received in reference to *** (see attached). The letter states that Mr. is disputing the amount owed on his rental account. Please see the attached final account statement. Mr. failed to make the last month's rental payment; therefore, there was a balance left on his account in addition to resident damages associated with the townhome. This was assessed during the move-out inspection. After review of the attached information, please let me know if you need anything further.

I had vacated the apartment. I asked to see a lease. Not a list of payments. I need to see a signature on a month to month lease. With my signature.
