[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It's clear that the owner Robyn and I had different conversations regarding deliveryThey submitted a document that my husband signed at a cake tasting that stated the cake would be picked up July 14thMy daughter's 1st Birthday party was on July 15th in a public recreation centerWhile paying the deposit which was half of the total cost of the cake $for the cake to Robyn I asked could the cake be delivered on July 15th instead of picking upRobyn stated it wouldn't be a problem let me ask Alan what would be the extra cost she came back on the phone and stated Alan said he would just change me an additional $I said that was fineI was told that I had to pay the blance of the cake and confirm the cake at least weeks before the deliveryThe cost of the cake was never the issue for my husband and IIt is common practice that I seen when planning a event of this magnitude that you confirm guest before finalizing food orders and cakeWe only had people to RSVP so I requested that the cake only be made to feed people over a month before the eventTheir argument to state that I had an issue with the cost of the cake is falseWe spent well over $5,on my daughter's 1st BirthdayI paid for the cake and delivery entirely so the owner statement is as well why would they deliver a cake that wasn't paid for this makes no senseMy credit card was over changed by the shop and I had to be refundedI only found this out after I my bank contacted me to verify it wasn't a fraudulent transactions I saw that they had changed me three timesIt was refunded after many calls and agreements Robyn and her looking into my card being charged more then it should've been changedI called Robyn on 7/to finalize the details and pay the balance my card was changed $even though the balance was $My credit card was then changed the $on 7/which is when my bank called to verify the transactionI was clearly confused because I thought the balance was taken care of on 7/This is why they $was refundedThe total cost of the cake Robyn and I discussed was $with an $delivery fee which was a total of $which you will see in the attached photo from my bank statements the transaction were paid and cleared even the $over changeI had no agreement with anyone to deliver my cake a day earlyEven the venue told them to call me because it had to be a mistake my party wasn't until the following dayI received no calls from anyoneThe rec Center was nice enough to allow them to put it in the refrigerator and they labeled the refrigerator do not touch but told me that they told the man who delivered it they were not responsible for the cake because I didn't rent the place for todayThe rec employee informed of the when I arrived that morningThe delivery man arrived at the rec Center at 4:pm right before closingRobyn and I had discussed what time I would be in there setting up on 7/I told her they could arrive as early as 10am to deliver the cake so why was my cake delivered at 4:45pm on 7/There statements are all and make no sense because if it was truly supposed to be delivered on 7/which on the order form says pick up the cake was late even that day my child party started at 1pmI did not allow the person they sent to come into my child's party that was already underway to interrupt my guestI had been calling the shop since 10:30am and he didn't show up until 2:35pmI was hung up multiple times and then to have someone I never ever seen or talked to before come into my daughter's party to look at a cake that I had already paid someone to come and fix after being hung up on Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: It's clear that the owner Robyn and I had different conversations regarding delivery. They submitted a document that my husband signed at a cake tasting that stated the cake would be picked up July 14th. My daughter's 1st Birthday party was on July 15th in a public recreation center. While paying the deposit which was half of the total cost of the cake $225.00 for the cake to Robyn I asked could the cake be delivered on July 15th instead of picking up. Robyn stated it wouldn't be a problem let me ask Alan what would be the extra cost she came back on the phone and stated Alan said he would just change me an additional $80.00. I said that was fine. I was told that I had to pay the blance of the cake and confirm the cake at least 2 weeks before the delivery. The cost of the cake was never the issue for my husband and I. It is common practice that I seen when planning a event of this magnitude that you confirm guest before finalizing food orders and cake. We only had 45 people to RSVP so I requested that the cake only be made to feed 60 people over a month before the event. Their argument to state that I had an issue with the cost of the cake is false. We spent well over $5,000 on my daughter's 1st Birthday. I paid for the cake and delivery entirely so the owner statement is false as well why would they deliver a cake that wasn't paid for this makes no sense. My credit card was over changed by the shop and I had to be refunded. I only found this out after I my bank contacted me to verify it wasn't a fraudulent transactions I saw that they had changed me three times. It was refunded after many calls and agreements Robyn and her looking into my card being charged more then it should've been changed. I called Robyn on 7/5 to finalize the details and pay the balance my card was changed $76.00 even though the balance was $301.50. My credit card was then changed the $301.50 on 7/13 which is when my bank called to verify the transaction. I was clearly confused because I thought the balance was taken care of on 7/5. This is why they $76 was refunded. The total cost of the cake Robyn and I discussed was $446.50 with an $80.00 delivery fee which was a total of $526.50 which you will see in the attached photo from my bank statements the transaction were paid and cleared even the $76.00 over change. I had no agreement with anyone to deliver my cake a day early. Even the venue told them to call me because it had to be a mistake my party wasn't until the following day. I received no calls from anyone.
