Review: I called up Doug at easy credit relief and he asked me what I wanted, and I told him I wanted to have about 12 items removed from my report, I told him about the types of items and he said OK, I can help you do that, but first I need to pay for a 200$ "consultation" where I review your credit report, I said OK because he said he could help remove the items I wanted off. What he told me was that each item would cost 50$ per credit reporting agency, so 3x $50 would be $150 per item. What he did not tell me was that he was going to go after late items and each items has a 30,30,90, and 120 days late. Instead of going after the main items it self, he went after the late items (maybe because they are easy to get off and charge people like me). I really did not pick up on this until after the second charge. Then after 12 months of removing a few items, Doug called me and said that they were done because they could not remove any other items off my credit and he told me I should just wait a year and they will come off my report. However I have already paid him 1,015.00 dollars and my credit report has only changed less that 10%. I wish his advise had been to just wait a few years at the beginning, not after I paid him 1015.00 dollars.Desired Settlement: refund of the $1015.00
