I sent my fiance to mail an important document and he used 'Certified Mail' as suggested by the sales staff in Easy Mail. He was told the slip with all the info to track my mail will be deposited in our mail box the next day soon as [redacted] picks it up. We checked a few days later and found no slip from [redacted], we asked the staff who matter of factly told me that [redacted] did not give her any slip for my mail ? and there is nothing that she can do about it. I was charged $17 for a service that I did not receive. And worst of all, my documents are now lost. Redoing it will cause time and money. Not to mention, I missed the deadline for it. There was no effort on assuring me that they'll try to find my mail, except a short statement that [redacted] lost some of their packages too ? that is not my problem, that's their problem. I paid Easy Mail for the service not [redacted], it is Easy Mail's job to make sure that my documents gets delivered as agreed.Product_Or_Service: Certified Mail Desired SettlementI want Easy Mail to refund me the $17 and to find which postman picked up my documents and to track it down. If it is indeed lost (other party has not received it), I want Easy Mail to pay for reissuing of the documents since they're the reason it's lost and to pay for whatever charges occurred due to the fact that the documents wasn't mailed as requested.Business Response It has been explained to [redacted] that we have been in touch with the Post office to see if they can find and return the postmark slips back to easy mail. As she has been told they are working on trying to locate the slips. The post mark slip does not guarantee delivery all it does it show a date is was shipped. As the letters are were sent fist class Certified mail the [redacted] DOES NOT carry a guarantee of delivery nor does it come with a refund if the [redacted] fails to deliver letter or Return Reciepts regaurdless if service was paid for.[redacted]the link above is directly from the [redacted] website and under this disclaimer #3 it explains the policy of the [redacted] on first class mailing.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Easy Mail has not done anything to assure me that they are doing everything they can to find my mail. To put the blame entirely on [redacted] when I directly did business with Easy Mail is unacceptable. If no one can guarantee delivery of my mail then what is the purspose of paying $17.90? Easy Mail did not give me back the slip so I can track my documents despite saying that they will do so. The delivery is NOT just an issue, but the pickup as well. Heather's explanation of "it's lost and there's nothing that I can do about it" is unacceptable and unethical for a business who just charged me $17.90; their instruction that I go find my documents at [redacted] myself (which I did) is unaccptable. I paid for a service Easy Mail wasn't able to provide, refunding my money is the least thing that Heather can do. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)As stated on my previous response, Easy Mail was able to ONLY establish their claims for ONE MAIL ONLY, the other mail is STILL missing. And up until now, there was no attempt on their part to provide me with information about it. There's still no way for me to track my mail since [redacted] never gave my fiancè the slip with the tracking numbers, B. Easy Mail do not keep records of all their certified mails they process which according to [redacted], they should. The matter is not resolved, Easy Mail has not established that BOTH mails were indeed picked up by [redacted] because as of today, one of my mail is still missing -- and there is no return slip for that specific mail in my possession still. Final Business Response All return receipts have been received and given to consumer along with detailed tracking provided by [redacted].
