Review: In July of 2013 easy pickings held an estate sale of my deceased father in-laws entire estate. We were told the profits came to a total of $10,000 dollars but have not received a dime,I have email them and called them with no response as has my sister in-law.It has been close to 2 years and we can't understand where are money is.Desired Settlement: We want Easy pickings to give us our money
Review: We hired this company to pick up our many, valuable estate items from two storage facilities in early October of 2013. The company representative, Jay Pinzon agreed that they would pick up the items, inventory them, discuss the items to be sold with us and discuss pricing prior to selling any of the items. They agreed to sell the items and provide us with the funds that they sold them for less their commission of 30% on all sales below $10,000 and 10% on everything over $10,000. In November of 2013, some of the items that we had given permission to sell had been sold. At that time, Jay said he would provide us with an inventory of the sold items and with a check for our portion of the items sold. No such inventory was forthcoming. After some difficulty reaching [redacted] for almost 3 weeks, he replied and said he would get us the information and a check in December. In December, he said an employee of his had made a mistake entering the inventory and that things would be delayed. That was December 17th. He has not responded to any email, telephone or written correspondence since that date. His general manager has sent a letter asking Jay to contact us and he has not done so.Desired Settlement: We want Easy Pickings Estate Sale Services to contact us to let us know what items have been sold and as promised, provide us with funds for those items. In addition, we need them to discuss the items that have not been sold with us so that we can provide them with the information required to ensure the items are being sold at their correct value. Further from that, we expect regular communication and timely responses to inquiries.
