Review: I would like to file a complaint against Easy Shopping Dept. Store & Furniture. We were sent the wrong merchandise twice, lied to on a number of occasions, and generally treated with a pattern of disrespect by the staff.

On October**, 2014 my mother and I went to this store in order to buy a sofabed. We picked one out on the showroom floor that we liked, but it did not come with a bed. The salesman told us that we could special order one, and it would take 3 weeks. So we decided to do that, and put down $200 deposit that was required of us. 2 weeks later we received a call from them saying that the sofa was ready to be delivered. When they arrived with the sofa the delivery workers told us that they needed the balance up front before they could bring the sofa through the door. So we gave them the remaining $580 in cash.

After the delivery guys left we noticed that the sofa was an entirely different model. I called the store manager to let him know this and his response was something like, "yes I decided to give you this model, it would take more time to get the special ordered one and I didn't want you to wait, and this is a more expensive sofa; so I decided for you to have this one." We were somewhat taken aback that the manager of the store had "decided" to pick out the sofa for us without our consent. After hearing this my mother decided that she did not want to wait any extra time; so she decided to change her order to the model that was on the showroom floor- which had no bed.

2 days later we went back to the store to talk to the manager to make sure that we would receive the correct model and the manager said to us, "the sofa is not here anymore, we moved it to the other store...go to that store and the manager there will help you." At this point we felt like we were getting the runaround. Why he couldn't just place the order from that location I couldn't understand. So the following day I went to the new store to place the order. When I went to the new store the manager told me that he would order the sofa. Meanwhile, the new sofa was still in our apt. We had to go to the store in order to argue with the manager for them to pick it up. He also assured us that the sofa that we would receive would be brand new and not the floor model. He told us that it would be coming from [redacted].

The sofa arrived two days after the order was placed. We had a feeling that something was not right, and discovered that the sofa that had been delivered was the showroom model and not a new sofa - as was promised. After being disappointed again I went back to the store and had an argument with the manager. After being caught in a lie, he had no choice but to come clean and admit that the sofa that he sent was in fact the display model. His only response was "what's the difference?" I then requested a refund but was denied. 2 days later I decided to go to the store one more time in order to request a refund, but was told by the manager that their policy is not to give refunds on cash purchases. He said that he would now have the new sofa delivered. This is after twice given the wrong sofa and being lied to. At this point we do not want to deal with this business anymore and feel we are entitled to a full refund.Desired Settlement: After 3-1/2 weeks of not getting the right sofa, we are sick and tired of dealing with this business. We want a cash refund.

Review: purchased a chair, chester draw, set of bed rails, I PAID FOR DELIVER AND SET UP. THEY took 8 days too deliver the chair, chest draw, they stated that they would return on Thursday, too put up chest draw and deliver the bed rails. I never heard from them they didn't answer the phone. I WENT TO STORE they started blameing each other the [redacted] refuse too speak to me. I'M 65 years old a senior citizen and I'M being taken avantage of. As of today [redacted] refuse to speak or promise a deliver date. Please help me.Desired Settlement: CONTACT THE STORE AND HAVE TO HONOR WHAT I PAID FOR. REFUND MY MOMEY FOR SETUP AND GIVE ME MY BEDRAILS. THANK YOU

Review: I Purchased a chest and within 2 days of having the item, the drawers were falling off the track. Before I left the store with the item, I asked if there was warranty in case something went wrong with the item and was told yes, I could always call back and they would repair it for up to a year. When I called about the problem I was told they were not responsible and I must have damaged the item or put it together incorrectly. I was not offered any assistance at all. I called back and was hung up on several times. I am now attempting to contact the manufacturer but they are having trouble assisting me because the item has been discontinued.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a non defective replacement or my money back. It angers me every time I go into my daughters drawer and it just collapses especially when I just spent $170 on an item. It's unfair. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I am a woman and my hand feel tied.

I fixed the chest on my own by purchasing washers and placing them between the rails and the wood. To make sure the drawers actually reach the track. I can't believe I had to do that after spending. $170 on new furniture.

Review: I walked into the store 30 minutes before closing time. I asked the sale representative if there was time for a purchase. She replied," I'll be right with you". We talked about the table set I wanted. I said I wanted the same one that look like the one outside. She replied ok we have it in stock. She said we have it in black the same. I then agree to the black set. I brought the breakfast bar table set. Listed price displayed outside for $100. She said we do set and delivery. I asked how much. She said $140 for everything,set up and delivery. I agree. On 2/**/15 at time 18:25 pm the item on credit to my debit card. The next day at 7:05 the delivery arrived. So far, so good. Two man arrived at my apartment with the box to set up. One set up the table the other set up the bar chairs. At the end one of the said a piece is missing from 1 chair. He said don't sign the receipt I'll be back to fix it. But I don't know when. I said ok. Two days later I called and no answer. 5 days later called each day no answer. 7 day on Sunday 10:35 am I went to the store to speak with someone. I was told that "he forgot" and he will bring the piece and fix it in 1 hour that same day. I left the store. No one never showed up. I'm Very up set.Desired Settlement: I would like a replacement of brown that like look the one on display,not black. Or a refund. Thank you
