Review: I purchased software from this company that does not even come close to working as intended. I looked up their refund policy and found this website[redacted]

It clearly states:

"If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase of Easy Spy, you can be eligible for a full refund according to Refund Conditions outlined below.

Refund Conditions

You are required to send your refund request to [redacted] within 10 days of purchase. No refund will be issued for any request made after 10 days from the date of purchase."

This is all that is listed under "Refund Conditions."

I purchased the software on July [redacted] and submitted the refund request via the email provided on July [redacted]. Since then I have received nothing but harassment from the representatives that I have spoken to.

The person that I exchanged emails with 7-8 times simply repeated "We are unable to issue you a full refund as you used the software. The best I can offer is a 30% refund and you continue using the software at the discounted rate, or a 50% refund and we close the account."

I asked 3 times to be pointed toward where this policy is stated. The only refund policy I had found was the one linked above. The representative refused to help me with this problem and continued to repeat what was quoted above. The last email I received from them (after asking a 3rd time to see the policy) only said "You used the software!!!!! You are not eligible for a refund."

At this point I decided to call the available "customer service" number. I was connected to a woman, who, after explaining my concerns, literally laughed at me and compared my situation to "trying to return a half-eaten hamburger."

I tried to explain that the analogy didn't translate to this situation and she interrupted me to put me on hold. I was connected to a man that, after explaining my concern to him, also laughed, and used similar analogies. He harassed me and didn't let me finish a complete sentence until he finally said "It doesn't matter what other companies allow you to return. THIS company's policy does not allow you to return used software."

I tried to once again ask him to show me where that policy is stated on their website, but I was interrupted and disconnected from the call.

I called back one more time, this time connecting directly to the man I was speaking with previously. He just repeated over and over that "It's common sense that you can't return something you used," returning to the flawed analogies once again. He refused to show or explain where I could find anywhere on their website where any of this was stated, because he said "I should know this without it being stated."Desired Settlement: I only want a full refund for the license keys that I purchased.
