A new refund check was reissued on October **, *** *** received her refund check of $135.00, and deposited the check on October **, I apologize for mailing it to the wrong apartment number( Which at this time I have still not received the envelope back yet) This was the only error I have made
On November *, I received notifications that *** *** contacted her credit card, for a chargeback of a charge of $on September **, That charge was for her September rentThis is also taking place after *** has deposited her refund check

[redacted] notified me that she was moving out on Saturday September [redacted] had given me her new address. On Monday September [redacted] I checked the storage unit to make sure it was clean, than issued a...

refund check. The mail was picked up on Tuesday September [redacted], mailed check to [redacted].
On October [redacted] received a call from [redacted] stating she did not receive her refund check. Verified address with her. Found that I had mailed check to Apt **, but she is in Apt [redacted]. Told [redacted] that we will give it to the [redacted] of October, if she does not receive the refund check, I will call the bank and stop payment on it. I was out of the office from the October [redacted] until the [redacted]. On October **, 2014 I proceeded to call the bank, stopped payment and reissued new check, mailed it on the same day.
Per our lease agreement, we have 30 days to issue a refund check.

Review: On September **, 2014, contact Easystreet storage [redacted] that I was going to be taking my stuff out of storage effective Sept **, 2014, at that time I was told by [redacted] that when they check the unit to make sure it was clean they would refund me my deposit of $135 dollars, as of today 10-**-14 I still have not received my refund and I have called every week since Sept **, 2014, and has been told by [redacted] that they mailed me a check to my home address, when I asked last Wednesday what address did they mail it to, [redacted] give me the wrong apt number and had out the wrong apartment on the mail, so I asked if they could put a stop payment and they told me it would cost me $30, I asked could the money be out back on my card [redacted] replied she does not know how to put it on the card she knows how to take it off. Spoke the [redacted] and she too is a very nasty individual to date I am very unsatified about the way they handle my refund policy which is false advertisement. I should have had my deposit back by now when my payment was due on 9-**-14, they can call me for the payment but, I still yet to receive my deposit can you please help. Thanks in advance.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my refund as promised by the agreement of the contact, they are in violation of the contact. I would not recommend anybody to use them for storage, I would like to speak to a manager and make him aware of what has happened with his business.
