I am rejecting this response because:because all of my counselors within the clinic knew I couldn't afford more than the 300 co pay. Also after discussing the matter with them they agreed they were 300 off and their statement of 1486.00. Yet neglected to send an adjusted statement. I am willing to pay 1/2 of them balance owing. This because they new in fen march my insurance co pays were going to be more and never brought it to my attention. Had I known I would have quit.
Review: I admitted myself into this facility to be treated for my eating disorder. After evaluation I was placed in Intensive Outpatient Care. I was told I was responsible for only a $300 payment each month as they would bill my primary insurance, [redacted] I left the program April 15th, making it less than 3 months of service. I was billed for my last month a total of $450, one hundred and fifty dollars more than my previous payments although I did not complete a full month of service. I payed my $300 deductible and attempted to reach ERC billing to discuss the added amount with no luck. I soon found out ERC had not filed any insurance claims through my primary insurance, this was proven to be true through to August of 2015. I received another bill, requesting I now pay $1400. When I called I was told they registered me, without consent or clear communication, as a mental health patient and when they had finally filed a claim my instance the service was not covered. I was not notified of my status nor my future financial responsibility until four months after under going and discharging from the program.Desired Settlement: I am asking for all fees to be waived and or a complete refund for all out of pocket billing paid over the course of admission in the outpatient program.
