The lease clearly indicated rent will be prorated base on notice and move out date. However, we offered a customer concession and credited her account as requested

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintFor your reference, details of the offer I received are below.A one-time $credit is laughableHonestly, it isI appreciate the offer, but no.I would like to get one thing out of the way first; the business is stating that I was offered a re-inspection and a re-cleaning of my apartment which is simply just a flat-out lieI was never once offered either of the two upon letting the office management know that there was urine on my bathroom floors and toilets in both bathroomsIf an inspection and cleaning was offered to me, I would have gladly accepted it! Why on Earth would I make the complaint to management just to turn down an offer to clean it? Use some common sense here! When I made the complaint to management, the exact word-for-word response I received was, "wow, I'm so sorry, usually my cleaning lady does a better jobI'll talk to her so that it doesn't happen again." That's itThat is all that she said and nothing moreI EXPECTED her to offer to have someone clean the disgusting mess, but she did notShe did not even imply itNow, I know that sounds like an unbelievable response to such a complaint - and I completely agreeI was shocked.Second, the business made an attempt to educate me on how electricity bills workWell, this is not the first place that I have ever lived with electricity believe it or notIn fact, I own a three bedroom house that was built in The house is roughly sq ft(much bigger than this apartment)It is a tri-level layout with a finished basement, and, you guessed it, cathedral ceilings on the main level just like this little apartmentI currently rent this home to my sister, but I lived in this home by myself before moving into this apartment at Windridge TownhomesNot one single time has my electric bill in that home been anywhere near $180+In fact, I can count on one hand the mount of electric bills that I've had in that home over $So, trying to tell me that the extremely high electric bill here is due to the size and layout of the apartment is a sorry attempt at reasoningThe electric bills here are 100% the result of poor building quality, cheap building materials, a lack of insulation, and shoddy outdated windowsWhen you can feel drafts coming from behind light switches that are on outside walls, that is not happening because of cathedral ceilings! Again, common sense! The bottom line is that I was lied to and the lies continue even after contacting Revdex.comThe electric bill issues here are well-known, and a simple internet search for reviews on the property will uncover thatIt is a common complaint, and the company that owned the property previously (Village Green) even used to offer electric bill reimbursements because of the issue and mount of complaintsI would not have signed my lease and would not have made the decision to move here if the person who gave me the tour had told me that electric bills ran higher than here - for whatever reasonInstead, I was told that there were no such issue and led to believe that it was an issue of the past that had been correctedI firmly believe that I deserve a monthly credit, not a one-time credit, and I will live out the remainder of my leaseIf this is not something that the business is willing to do, then I want out of my lease free of charge once I find a new place to live.Regards, [redacted]

Regional manager should be contacting the resident directly to resolve and we have agreed to remove late fee. Please note that the drop box is a courtesy for our residents and does not remove their obligation to pay rent on time This resident’s payment history has been very good and so we have agreed to remove the late fee

We do not control utility costsUtility costs are not unreasonable for size and style of unitCannot verify claim of what he was toldWe must follow the lease at this point in time

I am sorry for your trouble and disappointment. We offered to inspect and re-clean the unit but that offer was declined. This is a 1,square foot town house with 15' ceilings, not a typical flat style apartment, so utilities can sometimes run higher than expected.I do agree the time it took to get
the garage door opener was excessive. Receiving packages is a courtesy and not a requirementAs we receive a large number of packages, we do not have time to call residents to inform them.Unfortunately we do not see cause for relieving him of his lease and financial obligation. Due to the cleaning and delay in garage door opener, I am willing to offer a one time $concession in the form of a ledger credit.Regards,*** *** - Ackermann Group - COO

Regards, *** *** I told them that if/when they find the check to please call me. I wil always hand my check to someone in the office and get a receipt from now on. Response is acceptable, but let it be known that the woman from the head office said, "I am disappointed that you contacted the Revdex.com. We would have made this right." But Carry (sp?) at the trellises office didn't indicate that to me at all. In fact the next day I had an eviction notice at my door. They need to make their drop box safer

While I am sympathetic to your claims, I am not seeing a material breach of our obligations under the lease terms. We are not able to relieve you of your lease and financial obligations at this time.If additional information becomes available, I would be happy to review at that time.I am hopeful we can meet your expectations going forward. I am still willing to issue a $150 ledger credit to address the move in claims and concerns. [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I received are below.A one-time $150 credit is laughable. Honestly, it is. I appreciate the offer, but no.I would like to get one thing out of the way first; the business is stating that I was offered a re-inspection and a re-cleaning of my apartment which is simply just a flat-out lie. I was never once offered either of the two upon letting the office management know that there was urine on my bathroom floors and toilets in both bathrooms. If an inspection and  cleaning was offered to me, I would have gladly accepted it! Why on Earth would I make the complaint to management just to turn down an offer to clean it? Use some common sense here! When I made the complaint to management, the exact word-for-word response I received was, "wow, I'm so sorry, usually my cleaning lady does a better job. She did not even imply it. Now, I know that sounds like an unbelievable response to such a complaint - and I completely agree. I was shocked.Second, the business made an attempt to educate me on how electricity bills work. Well, this is not the first place that I have ever lived with electricity believe it or not. In fact, I own a three bedroom house that was built in 1970. The house is roughly 1800 sq ft. (much bigger than this apartment). It is a tri-level layout with a finished basement, and, you guessed it, cathedral ceilings on the main level just like this little apartment. I currently rent this home to my sister, but I lived in this home by myself before moving into this apartment at Windridge Townhomes. Not one single time has my electric bill in that home been anywhere near $180+. In fact, I can count on one hand the mount of electric bills that I've had in that home over $100. So, trying to tell me that the extremely high electric bill here is due to the size and layout of the apartment is a sorry attempt at reasoning. The electric bills here are 100% the result of poor building quality, cheap building materials, a lack of insulation, and shoddy outdated windows. When you can feel drafts coming from behind light switches that are on outside walls, that is not happening because of cathedral ceilings! Again, common sense! The bottom line is that I was lied to and the lies continue even after contacting Revdex.com. The electric bill issues here are well-known, and a simple internet search for reviews on the property will uncover that. It is a common complaint, and the company that owned the property previously (Village Green) even used to offer electric bill reimbursements because of the issue and mount of complaints. I would not have signed my lease and would not have made the decision to move here if the person who gave me the tour had told me that electric bills ran higher than normal here - for whatever reason. Instead, I was told that there were no such issue and led to believe that it was an issue of the past that had been corrected. I firmly believe that I deserve a monthly credit, not a one-time credit, and I will live out the remainder of my lease. If this is not something that the business is willing to do, then I want out of my lease free of charge once I find a new place to live.Regards,[redacted]

We do not control utility costs. Utility costs are not unreasonable for size and style of unit. Cannot verify claim of what he was told. We must follow the lease at this point in time.

We will be crediting the $156.98 to your account and will send out a revised statement showing a $0 balance.  This will be completed not later than 3/31/17. Regards, [redacted]
