About a month ago, my wife and I purchased watches manufactured by [redacted], the S7 and S8. In this small amount of time the products have stopped working as designed. I sent the manufactureer an email requesting a solution to the problem and the following email was their response; Any-Touch HR sensors can experience interference from salt build up > (from your sweat) and motion. The only way to totally avoid this, is > to use a watch that offers a chest band for a continuous HR output. > However, there is no way to avoid this, aside from the steps you are > currently taking, with your specific S7 watch. > > Thank you, > [redacted] > [redacted] Customer Service Rep. > [redacted] > [redacted] > ###-###-#### Their solution, apparently, for me to purchase an even more expensive product, which I fear would not work either.
