I am rejecting this response because: Our kids lost Friday and part of Saturday for doing anything funDespite what you said, the kids were not given food or beverages until late that nightAnd had no amenities they were promisedI feel a refund of onefull day would compesate for their loss

I apologize that the first day of your vacation did not occur as planned. That was never my intention On April 3, 2015, Senior Grad Trips traveled your group from Detroit, Michigan to Cancun, Mexico on Southwest Airlines with of my staff members. My staff and I were
present the entire time of your trip. When we all arrived to the Grand Caribe Real hotel, my staff and I worked on checking you all in. It wasn’t until then that I was pulled to the side by the hotel Manager who told me that the hotel was not paid in full for your group, which was not accurate. While I continued to work on figuring out what the true issue was, I had my staff bring food and drinks to the group in the banquet room. Because it was a holiday weekend and many of the hotel workers that I work directly with throughout the year were on vacation, it was challenging for me to find out all the details immediately that day. So rather than being stranded with no rooms for one night, each traveler was asked to pay one night ($127) with the intention of the hotel refunding each of them in full the following day. I continued to work the issue the next day and the rest of their stay went as planned with no further issues The group was never in danger and they always had a place to stay and my staff was always present at every event. You and your group arrived to Cancun and returned back to Detroit safely along with my staff. I have been in the travel industry for many years, and have never scammed anyone. I am rejecting this response because: It is a canned letter drafted by his attorney. I have not personally received this letter or a phone call, even though I have made several calls and left several messages. His letter appears to be an overt attempt to stall while he attempts to find a means to avoid paying the parents and students back the money he defrauded us out of. He should have cut the checks by now. Here is an initial list of basic reimbursements he should be making to the families and the school districtRepay the money $per family without question immediatelywork with the school district to reimburse 1) the clubs that donated money out of their coffers to support the seniors for the alternate trip2) cover the employee related expenses of the school district who provided drivers for the school buses. 3) cover the operational costs associated with the district school buses that were used to transport the students to and from the trip. while not required if might go along way if this company wrote an actual apology letter to each student with an additional $graduation check, to be used as they see fit.Regards,
