Unhappy Customer
The staff was very professional and pleasant to work with. They had agreed to list my auction in the tight window we had. Never once, was I told that I would net very little. In fact, I received $0.00 from my estate sale that had very nice & expensive items such as: 8' slate pool table, Full cherry dining room set with china cabinet, treadmill, Nordic track elliptical, table saw, pressure washer, several power saws, 4 Trek bicycles with trailer hitch bike rack, dressers, cherry end tables, and several other valuable items. After the auction commenced, there were several sales at ridiculously low amounts. The total sales exceeded over $3K. We received nothing as I was told that the money covered the marketing and labor expenses. Talk about a fire sale! The experience just made me feel ripped off and like I just gave away a fortune. This is for your awareness as I would not recommend this company.

Avoid these people like the Covid 19 virus. They just used that as an excuse to extend an auction that probably wasn't fetching the interest they thought it should. The sellers are getting screwed and the buyers that arranged previews were given no notice at all. The excuse was 'well we can't send out 45,000 e-mails".

This company canceled their own contract with us after we caught them hiding high end merchandise in junk boxes and after removing personal property from our residence without our permission as well as items that went missing and magically showed up again after we threatened to call the police. After canceling their own contract these wonderful business people threatened ro sue us for a clause that if you cancel a contract they can bill you. Well when you rob and steal and are confronted with the facts and witnesses then you cancel the contract you cant claim squat. I can only tell you our instinct from the first day was that something wasnt right but we let it go when we should have kicked them out these people like to throw all items in large lots not do any due diligence and could care less about whether your making money because they charge up front for labor and advertising and then their percentage. There are better ways to sell your estate. Hell by the time these people get done wirh you, your better off taking the tax write off and donating it all.

It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that they have received all of their merchandise prior to leaving the removal site.  The customer signed their invoice indicating that they had received everything they purchased, those conditions are in the terms and conditions this buyer agreed...

to.  Based on that alone they would not be entitled to any refund  In an effort to maintain good will and work with this buyer we offered a 50% refund that was agreed to by the husband of the buyer.  The buyer wants to keep the items they did receive and not pay anything for them when they have no way of knowing what was in the box they didn't receive., again this buyer has in their possession items that they don't feel that they should have to pay for, not really equitable in our opinion.  We do not feel it is justified, however this amount of money is not worth defending any further and we will refund the buyers full price plus buyers premium and tax for this item.

Review: Ebidlocal is a company that runs estate sales as auctions. The estate sale that as up for auction was in my area so I bid on some items. On a set date, the winners show up at the estate sale and pick up their items. When I arrived someone who was assisting with the sale matched up my receipt with their invoice and started going around the house picking up my items but then she left us alone. We found what we thought were all the items. When I returned home, I looked over the list to make sure we everything because we only had until 6pm to pick up our items. It was 4:00 and I discovered that instead of receiving two (2) boxes of CD's that I had won, we only received one. I emailed the person running the sale and we went back to retrieve the second box at 4:30. We were told that they had given the second box of CD's to a little girl who found them in a closet. The one box of CD's that we did find was out in the open on the seat of a couch upstairs - why was the second box in the closet when they are pictured together in the auction? Why didn't the people running the sale know that the CD's belonged to me and not do anything with them until after the 6pm cutoff? I contacted Ebidlocal and was told that they would only refund me half of the purchase price sense I had received half of the CD's. There is no way to know what CD's were in the second box as there was no listing of the individual CD's. I bid on them because I figured out of 2 boxes of CD's there must be at some that I would like. Now I am missing the CD's in the second container, which was a zipper case by the way which also had some value.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund. The person who was helping us get our items left in the middle. I had to make a second trip back to the house where the estate sale was taking place because I was missing an item only to be told that my item had been given away. Until 6pm, that item was mine and they did not have the right to give away an item I already paid for. Their excuse is that I received some CD's so I should only get half a refund. If it had been a suit of clothes and I only received the jacket, would they only refund half?
