Florence three wheel *** motor keeps cutting out.Since Oct 30,2015, it has been in the repair shop thousands more hours than on the road.
Previous Complaint Against the same dealer, May 24, 2017, #*** (***)

In an attempt to fix the problem of the motor cutting out the dealer has done many things, some of which I paid for, but to no avail, until he connected a second battery, which cost me $787.87,to the original battery, Tuesday, May 22. This was no better or even worse.

I took the ebike in Friday, May 25, and he said twice that he would call me the next morning at 10 AM and he did not call. I called about 10.17 and was asked to call back in five minutes. I called back in about 7 minutes and was told that he was busy and I was asked to call back later. I completely lost it and completely gave up on him that Saturday morning.

The following Tuesday, May 29th I picked the bike up without saying a word to him or to his co-worker.

The motor was still cutting out as I rode home.

The following day, Wed, May 30th until June 20th, 16 trips to *** and back from *** 8.2 km, there and back, it never gave me any trouble. Unbelievable! Perhaps it just needed time for the two batteries to work together.

Since buying it Oct 30, 2015, I spent $1598.68 in repairs and a second battery, plus another $112.65 in Bus fares.

I also had the aggravation and danger of the many times the motor cut out in traffic and going up hill and of taking it to the dealer so often and then taking a Bus home.

This is the same dealer I lodged a complaint with May 24, 2017, because he would not honour the two year warranty that the manual gives on "Gears, bearings, motorshell, hub motor."

when the ebike gave out on me, February 7,2017, the dealer told me I needed a new front wheel with motor.

Sept 14th, some 7 months later he gave me a break by charging me only $282.50 instead of the $433.92 of Work Order '097.

This saved me $151.42 but the warranty would have saved me $372 so I was out $201. We can add that to the total above bringing it to a total of $1799.68 plus bus fare $112.65 equals $1902.33.

I should at least be refunded for the second battery and half the cost of the other repairs.

Therefore, 1902.33 minus 789.87=1112.46 divided by 2=556.23+789.87=1,346.10

I would settle for $1,346.
