In October of I signed a contract with *** *** (Fortified Building Systems) to remodel and add on to my existing home with a completion time of weeks *** was payed in advance for demolition of an existing structure and the pouring of the slab for addition I was left with piles of concrete that cost several thousand dollars to dispose of Brad was supplied a set of drawings from my architect with slab design showing a 24" beam depth The maximum depth on beam measured after pour was 12" The contractor I selected to finish the job would not build on the sub par slab In addition, the slab did not have the proper water ledge and the sunken shower was in the wrong location*** has changed his phone number and renamed his company Slab repair will cost me approximately $*** has not made any attempt to hold up to his responsibilities
