Initially our contact was reasonable and gave us confidence to move forward. Subsequently, contact was nearly impossible. We did get notification of the car pick up date, but when we made several phone calls and emails to arrange payment by credit card there was no response. The transport company experienced the same lack of response from ecar and finally dealt directly with us. A broker's responsibility is to be available and to communicate with the transport company and the client. They failed. We do not recommend this broker, they did not earn their fee.

I have inquired a service to transport my vehicle from the State of Virginia to the State of Washington - and signed the contract.

However, I was not able to get through to any of the 3 numbers that was provided to me on email and the website - for the entire 3 days. Then, when I left a voicemail indicating that I wanted to switch services, I finally got a call back so we continued. However, this happened once again, starting from Friday until Tuesday - then once again from Wednesday until today (Friday). So I actually told the truck driver company that I feel very nervous and scared of entrusting my car for transport, to a company that never answers my calls, voicemails, or emails until they want.

So I told the eCarMovers' Manager Micheal, that I wanted to cancel the service today, and he actually threatened me that I can be held responsible for the entire trip anyways now that I broke the contract.

So that is when I stopped talking to the company, and decided to reach out to the Revdex.com before things get out of hand. They already have my Credit Card information, so I would like some sort of govermental protection or assistance in handling this matter.

My husband's brother was shipping a Ford F150 from Beaumont California to us here in Detroit Mi. I knew absolutely nothing about the process, cost, how long it would take to ship and receive the vehicle, the difference between open and closed transport, etc. Jill and Brittany were friendly, courteous, and helpful. They walked me through the process and answered all my questions. Jill called my brother in law to let him know when he could expect the driver to pick up the truck. Vehicle was picked up on time and was delivered to us a day earlier than anticipated. And before I forget Ecarmovers was 200 dollars cheaper than other car haulers I contacted. I don't anticipate having to ship a vehicle in the future but if I do I will definitely use eCarMovers. Oh by the way Jill called me today to insure that we were satisfied with the service. That's a big YES!

I am a dealer that ships about 15 cars a month, either from auctions or customer purchases. I was skeptical using anyone other than the trucker and did not want to use a broker. After our cars were not getting picked up at the auctions on time and losing car sales because I could not get them delivered, I decided to use a broker.

Another dealer referred ecarmovers so I gave them a shot and have not had an issue yet! I have been in the industry long enough to know that shipping cars has so many parts that there will be issues. I thought that car buyers had unreal expectations until I read some of these car shipping reviews!

Jill has closed many sales for our company by assuring the buyer that out dealership is reputable and giving cheaper shipping rates for our buyers.

We booked a shipping service for our 2 cars almost a month in advance. When the pickup day came, we were told that no driver is ready and that there is a 5 day time frame and that we have to wait. On the fourth day, Michelle stopped returning our calls. We left her messages and would not get a call back. The 5 day time frame lapsed and there are still no drivers, 6th day, 7th day 8th day came with no drivers still. We were told that even if we get another broker we won't get the car shipped cause all the brokers use the same driver network.

We ended up shipping our cars with another broker on the 10th day. When we cancelled our transaction with Michelle, she started sending rude and impolite long emails and was very unprofessional. For a company that deals with customer service, it is very unbecoming of an agent to behave like that. We will never deal with this company again and will not refer this company to others.

I had email ecarmovers to cancle my order on May 30, 2018. On June 9, 2018 they still took out $125 for a deposit.
My order number is ***. I cancelled out on my order to get my car transported on May 30, 2018. Ecarmovers took out $125 out my account on June 9, 2018. I spoke with Brittany on June 11, 2018 at ecarmovers and she said I was going to get a refund. A couple of days pass by and I hadn't received a refund, I spoke with Brittany again and she said the payment was being processed. Every time after that when I called, that's what I was told my payment was being processed. On June 13, 2018 I spoke with Brittany and she told me to email Micheal, which is the dispacher who handles those issues and I emailed him on June 13, 2018 about my refund and he never got back to me. I called ecarmovers again on June 17, 2018 and spoke with a Guy and he said my payment was getting processed, but I had to wait on my bank. I waited a couple of days and on June 21, 2018 I called my card to find out why I haven't got my money and the representative said a payment havent even been processed on my card. I called ecarmovers movers and spoke with Brittany again and she connected me to the dispacher, which is Micheal and he was very rude and ugly to me. He was yelling at me and I started to talk to him the way he was talking to me which was ugly, we didn't get anywhere because we both was upset and I asked to speak with someone else and he told me he was not going to help me until after lunch. I expressed to him why I was frustrated and he continue to be very rude and unpofessional to me. I asked to speak to someone else and he told me no. He replied, it was no one else I could've spoken to in a higher authority than him. He said, im hanging up now and he did. I didn't call him back, I did call to speak to someone else about the issue. I spoke with Michelle and I explained to her how rude Micheal was and she said it was no one else I could speak to but him. I been waiting on my refund going on 3 weeks now and thats all I won't is my money back. Please help me. Thank you!

The customer was charged when they should not have been. It was an internal error, which was corrected. We credited the customer's account for the full amount and are sorry for the error as well as the delay in correcting the issue.

On May 7, 2018, I contacted EcarMovers to get a quote to move my pickup truck from Seattle to Buffalo. My contact was Michelle at EcarMovers. She sent me a quote for $1475 (1350 for the trucking and 125 for her booking fee). I agreed to that price. Two days later I received an email from Michelle stating she had assigned the load to a driver and attached a revised quote for $1675 (1500 for trucking and 200 booking fee). I immediately called her and left a message stating to "hold" the shipment until she agrees to the original quoted price of $1475. She never replied. I also notified the dealer to hold my pickup until he hears back from me. Two days later the dealer calls me and says the trucker has arrived. I spoke with the trucker and told him about the games EcarMovers was playing. He agreed to take the load for $1350. I emailed Michelle to tell her what happened. Her emails then became very rude. She refused to take responsibility and continued to play games. Once my pickup arrived, I spoke with the driver. He says booking agents like EcarMovers are all lying thieves, I agreed. From now on, I will deal directly with the trucker (***).

I cancelled my request because they could not pick up the car in our available window. They threatened to sue me when I posted a negative (2/5) review
I'm an active duty Army officer. I cancelled my transport request because they could not pick up the car in our available window. They threatened to sue me when I posted a negative (2/5) review on Google.com. What a nightmare to add to an already stressful process of moving across the country for a permanent change of station (PCS) move.

We appreciate your service to our, however if you read your terms and agreement you are in breach of contract. You cancelled the day of your transport, which is infraction one. there are also strict rules that say that you will be held liable if reviews are as a result of your negligence which is the case here because you admit we found a carrier in the terms that you agreed to. Regardless of your position, or how many times you called and threatened bad reviews, you will be held liable as you agreed to the terms.

You even admit in the previous review that in the terms it states 5 days, so you are aware of the terms, you just feel that you are above them. The law is the law, if you break it you have to face the consequences.

No communication. Charge for services not rendered. No clear cancellation policy.
I got a call from one of the eCarMovers representative. I was told that someone would pick my car up in two days or I would be called. When It came to payment I was told that they would only charge me when my vehicle was picked up. When the call and driver never came I called and had to lave a message to cancel the order. I check my bank statement and eCarMovers had charged me the deposit that was not supposed to be charged till my vehicle was picked up. I called to see why and I was told that there was a pick up ready today which seems convenient, but it was to late. When I told them that I wanted my money refunded I was told that I had to email because " anyone could call and leave a voicemail" even though anyone could make a call as well. As of this time I have not been refunded.

I'm sorry your experience was anything less than you expected it would be. Timing of dispatching a truck to pick up your vehicle is estimated as detailed in our terms and conditions.
Our terms clearly state that in most cases, dispatches take place within 5 days. It also says, once a truck is dispatched, then there is a non-refundable payment due. When a truck is assigned to pick up a vehicle within the allowed 5 day window, then that amount is non-refundable unless it was the carrier's fault as to why they couldn't pick up the vehicle (such as a broken down truck).

I originally signed up to use Ecarmovers and was assigned to a rep by the name of Vanessa. She was not very forthcoming with information, which I later found out from another car transport company that actually did everything withing 24-48 hours. After Vanessa not being able to set me up with a driver and with only 2 days left before my flight, I reached out to *** and Joe gave me all the information, explained the different levels of service and explained why Vanessa's emails were so vague. He was able to secure a driver within 20 minutes and that evening I had a call from dispatch. The next day I had a drivers number and my car was in route. I informed Vanessa that her services were no longer needed and she said that everything would void since I decided not to use them. The day my car was delivered, I let her know since she was still sending me emails daily. She then charges my card for a fee which she originally told me she would not charge. I called to discuss with her and she was nasty and vile and caused me to get on her page and let her know. I would not recommend this company to anyone. *** is the company to call if you want things done the right way the first time. Joe was an excellent help in the moving proce.

Thank for your feedback, Mr. S. We're glad you got your shipment taken care of. Our records show we provided the service that we were hired for. That is to provide a licensed and certified carrier to ship your vehicle and dispatched a truck within the pick up window that you provided. The terms and conditions that you agreed to, clearly prohibit the usage of multiple companies to prevent carriers arriving at a location and car not onsite; which you admittedly did and even after that did not cancel until the carrier was on the way to get your car.

It is your responsibility to cancel within the time parameters, just like a motel or plane reservation. Carriers base their loads by your reservations so by your not following the procedures this cost the carrier money, that is what brokers are in the industry, to make sure that all parties fulfill their agreed obligations.

We understand your situation, that is why you were not charged the entire amount for late cancellations.

The pick up was cancelled because your agent did not inform me of a shipping date. She only reached out to me once I told her to cancel because I had to move and she would not give me a straight answer on when my car would be picked up. In her exact words she said the order would be cancelled and I would not be charged. I would NOT recommend your services to others, the agents are obviously not properly doing the job which is why I had to find an agency that was able to get the job done and in a timely manner...

eCarMovers was great to work with. They tried moving our car at the cheapest price possible. After a week of my car being posted on the driver board (they are a broker) to be shipped from NH to FL, I asked if we increased the price a little, if that would help get it moved. They said yes so we bumped it a little. Another week went by and we bumped it up again. A total of $50 was all it took. A company by the name of Revolution Transport Corp took the transport and picked it up the very same day. The driver arrived earlier than expected. eCarMovers will try to get your vehicle moved at the lowest price but you may have to be willing to bump it up a little if it's not getting moved. I appreciated the honesty and was not in a huge rush to get it moved. I had a month deadline and after signing with them, it took 2 weeks. Overall I was pleased with them and would recommend them to family and friends.

Glad I chose them. Everything went very well. The car was picked up and delivered on schedule and was in the same condition upon arrival as it was when it left.

They did a good job communicating with me in a clear way. Their price was fair and they were easy to deal with over the phone. The driver they used was consistently inaccurate about time estimates (picking up and dropping off the car multiple hours after originally promised) but that's beyond their duty.

Ecarmovers has held my deposit since September 14 2017. That is more than adequate time to process a refund.
I have contacted Michael Justice 3 different times.
He told me the refund of $125. was being processed. However, in talking to my bank, they have yet to receive this refund. Ecarmovers accepted my deposit on September 14 2017. Within a week I cancelled the order and was told by representative, Michelle B. that I would be refunded.
I have both text message and several emails to verify the course of this transaction.
Can the Revdex.com really be of help here?

We realize that the process takes longer than most, due to the carriers schedules and needed paperwork for crediting. You were informed that it was processed by Micheal and I see that it has been processed just as you were told.

We asked you to be patient with us and even attempted to explain that by law, we have to consult with all parties involved. However, it is our duty to make sure customers are protected within the confines of the law. We can not overlook a process, regardless of how upset a customer may get, this a matter of law not convenience.

It took ecarmovers one day to take the $125 out of my account. I don't believe that in this day of technology, that any "paper work" is exchanged between their carriers and ecarmovers. Ecarmovers took the deposit, from me, without any documents being exchanged. Furthermore, ecarmovers should be responsible for the immediate refund and settle with their carriers whenever. It seems the delay is between ecarmovers and THEIR selected carriers.
Should this process really take 4 weeks?

The below document will shows that the customer is now slandering our company, because he does not know the legal responsibility or the process it takes to clear these matters, yet still is "knowingly making claims to harm" our company. The refund was processed, just as we explained it would be, even though your terms & conditions make you legally responsible for the entire amount of the transport for arriving and car could not be loaded because the misinformation you provided.

We accept that this process is long, because you entered a contractual agreement between three parties; therefore all have to agree before we can make a decision. Being that we have documents of explaining this at length and your refund was received by you just we explained, this will now be processed by our legal team accordingly.

ECar Movers followed my car transport from beginning to end and communicated beautifully each step of the way. They went out of their way to make sure I was getting the service I needed. I am extremely happy that I chose them to move my car.

eCarMovers is a company I would certainly stay away from. We contacted the company in July for our car to be shipped in October, was quoted a price and filled out an application form. We called a few times to make sure we were all set for our move and was told all was fine. Two weeks before the move we received a phone call telling us our price from $475 was now going to be $850. Other companies told us there was no way they would have been able to ship our car for the original price quoted but eCarMovers said they were a legitimate company and the price they quoted was the price we would pay. I own a small business and I would not stay in business if I lied and cheated my patrons the way I was treated. Review any other auto transport company, but if you want to feel good about a price that will not hold up then contact eCarMovers for a quote and a promise that will never be kept

When this customer ordered, it was explained that due to their route being seasonal, their price would need to be re-calculated once their date was closer. Basically, it's impossible to calculate what October pricing is in July, which is why our quote pricing is valid for 30 days.

I stand by my comments and warn customers to try another business. We were told this was a come on by many other companies and unfortunately trusted eCarMovers. .I can't blame anyone but myself.

Thank you again for your candid feedback. Due to some route pricing being seasonal and pricing shifting due to freight volume changing, our quotes are good for 30 days.

In response to "We were told this was a come on" ...If you speak to another car shipper, a pretty common practice is to slander another company to incite fear or validate a customer's feelings "Oh, is that what THEY told you? That DOES sound frustrating. OUR company doesn't do that, we would never tell you that." Even if the information a client received was totally valid and correct, an unethical company would color the conversation in a way to make themselves look good and calm the customer's fears. A great example would be the issue of pricing in this case. It would be easy to say that we gave you a "low ball" price, when in reality, we can only price using the data on hand.

As mentioned previously, it's impossible to know October 2017 pricing in July since (1) this route shifts based on weather and (2) the only data we can go by is October 2016 data which gives, at best an estimate.

We do our best to provide accurate information so that shipments go well and so that customers are well informed. Sometimes this involves saying things folks don't want to hear. For example, "dates are not guaranteed. They are estimated." This results in potential customers to hang up or demand a guarantee, when in fact, that is simply not how auto shipping works 99% of the time. Our policy is to always tell the truth, even if it's not what the clients wants to here. This enables them to make a good decision for their car shipment, regardless of whether they use eCarMovers or another shipper. At least they have the needed info to make a good decision. Thank you again for having given us the opportunity to earn your business, and we hope your shipment was completed to your satisfaction by the company that completed the service.
