I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I am not using their services for anything any moreTheir claim that I am still using them is falseI do not want ECatalog to touch my businessWhat is interesting is that they mentioned *** *** and I was given the impression that he is not part of their Company so this is news to meI have spoken to ***, but have not engaged him for a websiteI definetely will not be now that I know he works for them. The changes they made to my site wrecked my sales and I can prove it wirth my sales graphs and I have plenty of letters back and forth from this CompanyThe consulting fee was paid in advance as part of the $for 'future' expansion after everything was movingWe had one consulting appointment that I cancelled because thy were going to have me speak with a manufacturer from China about selling goods to meThis should not have been considered a consultationIt was a sales presentation for me to buy goods from a supplier so I never spoke with anyone and gave a cancellation notice.Have an AMAZING DAY!I wanted to take a moment to give you a little more insight, and additional dataECatalog worked on my Amazon site (which I am still trying to figure that out) my sales have dropped to less then halfI still have listings that are completely lockedI get customers that buy things that say pack, that used to say pack beforeStill trying to get my Brand Registry for AOR Flashlights going, and a multitude of other problems that cause me some new kind of trouble every single dayMy listings were changed from items from 2, Gold finish instead of silver, $for a $Scooter, listing pages were and still are completely erased, Part #'s gone, my listing pages in many cases are now permanently stuck (I can not make modifications), my inventory numbers were out of whack when *** first started making changes so I was ordering product that I did not need like compasses where the listing is now so messed up that I hardly sell any compasses any moreThis caused me harm, in that, without my knowledge, and for some time, my products details were changed, and my offers to consumers were now misleading which led to negative consumer experiences, reviews, negative actions against me by Amazon for selling products that were not as described (some of my listings were, and two still are removed, but through much time and effort I should have them all back soon)I have gone through considerable time, effort, money and frustration to keep Customer's, Amazon happy, and to maintain my much cherished excellent reputation.I tried to make a couple of minor fix in the beginning because I saw some bad things, but they told me not to do anything right now until they finishedSo, I even almost completely stopped looking at my Amazon store mostly because I was afraid of what I was seeing, and what appeared to be a growing mass of errors by Ecatalog because they told me that while they were "fixing" things to get ready for my website that I should not make any changesSo, I looked away, and let them make all these changes, but something was definetely going wrong.Ecatalog charged me $for a websiteI never got my website, and I think if I had someone figure it out, they really cost me about $75,to $100,so farI emailed *** *** directly to ask him if he worked for, or just with, EcatalogThe only reason I got back in touch with him was because the Merchant Services representative from Prolific Business Solutions/Authorize.Net, *** ***, Business Relationship Manager, ###-###-####, told me to reach out to *** ***I did call ***, and got the impression that he was his own entity (Infiplex.com) which could disassociate me from ECatalog and he would still have some knowledge of my "original" need to have a websiteHe stated: "Hi ***,Thank you for your time yesterday to discuss your data problems with eCatalog ServicesAs we discussed, I can host your new InfiPlex website directlyMonthly pricing is based on how many orders are processed through the site, including Amazon ordersBased on our discussion, you would be at the $level which includes up to orders per monthWe do not charge an additional percentage on sales volume like some other providers. For the scosts, you have already paid for those through eCatalog and I can work with them on that partThe sincluded the base system and template sand the product migrationPlease review the site to make sure that the products are listed correctlyI will have our trainer, ***, contact you to sa training time on managing your new storeIf you have some updates to existing product that you want to make, she can walk you through how to do that.I will also need you to review the notes below from my other email so we can finalize those items.Best Regards,*** ***"Ecatalog never got close to getting me a website (weeks of taking down listings to relist, over and over again)All I ever wanted was a websiteI am terrified of the thought of any one in their team ever touching my stuffI have never gone through having to be fixing things on my own like this in the years of my being in business.I have probably a couple hundred correspondences on many products that I built. This is part ofonethread foroneof my products that has been broken away from it's other colorsNow Amazon is sending it to a different department because more then reviews disappearedThis Filter Straw product was one of my top sellers and the colors were disassociated from one another during one of ECatalogs feed uploads:Dear Amazon,The reviews with these ASIN's were removed when my Parent/Child variations were restored after they were separated by some feed problem.I am confused as I do not know what feature request meansI did not want the ASIN's to change, and unfortunately they were because of some technical requirement on your partIt is extremely difficult to get reviews and I have put hundreds of hours in to this endevour just for this. Please try to restore the origial ASIN's as I think this will ensure that my product reviews will not be removedIf this can not be done, I would like to have more assurances that my reviews will not just disappear.I greatly appreciate your understanding and assistance in this matter.Have an AMAZING DAY!Best regards,*** ***This is just one of many letters, phone calls, chats that I am doingIf you look at my data, I have more then doubled my inventory to increase exposure and maintain salesI am a detailed oriented person and I read what ECatalog said about my listings, but the fact of the matter is that the sales show otherwiseI am cataloging all the new products that I am selling and I have been able to stay afloat with the revenue being generated from these new additions which would not be the case if I was cataloging incorrectly.I ownwww.***Pest.comhere in Florida (please look us up)We are Members of many Trade Associations, support and participate in Community Organizations, and are a Member of the Revdex.com of SE South FloridaHere are my numbers for that and please reach out to them:Nov 3Great numbers. I got that listed with the group and will let you know as soon as we hit 40.Thanks,***Have a great day!*** and ***Real ReviewsPlease feel free to verify thisI will get you their email.4.Hi ***,I was just going through some of my notes and was wondering if you have a status update on the progress of the analysis you have initiated to determine the factors involved in thecontinuing sales decline of my Amazon sales since the beginning of AugustDo you, or any of your team members, have any insight as to whether the changes that were made to myexisting products (i.ethe cleaning up by ***) will cause a rebound in sales like I think you indicated this will help my ranking/visibilityMaybe that would offset some of the other external factors you indicated that could be the causing the precipitous drop in sales that has recently crossed me in to my lowest income in over a year. Also, I am happy to hear that one of my ongoing product issues is resolved nowSomehow, data was different with the Webstore and Amazon store for the little compasses and itmade a problemI think I have a couple more compass issues there she needs to look at (in between duties I have been attempting to survey the results of the fixes that were made).Strangely, I did not have this problem before, and I am wondering why we still have the Webstores anyways? Can you let me know if I really need these webstores? I am not doing any sales on these stores, and I would rather have my ecommerce store open with you and pay you for thatIf there is some reason you need more time for my NEW webstore to open, can we close the others anyways?.I was also wondering if I can get timetables on my projects and what needs to be done yetI have obtained these in the past and it will really help to plan for further growth, and otherpending projects I have. I want to thank you again as I was very apprehensive about giving my livelihood up to another party to wok with after many, many days of anxious decision making finally making it in to a viable business was a a bit nerve wreckingBut, having your experience, and talented team has been a great relief for meKnowing that you have the knowledge and tools to take this to the next level makes it easier for me to rest, and to give my time to my precious childrenI look forward to sharing my experience soon with the thousands of International peers that I have at the Amazing.com Forum, conferences, and of course the many very active Social Member FB sites, etcI am a passionate Reviewer as well and you may want to put me on the payroll once you see how many sales you will be obtaining from my far reaching efforts :-).Thank you, and your team againI look forward to hearing from you soon.HERE IS MY EXPANATION ABOUT THE PREVIOUS LETTERI WILL BE GLAD TO PROVIDE EXPLANATIONS FOR ALL LETTERS IF THERE IS A QUESTION:I hope you can see my sense of concern and urgency in my letter to ECatalog about the ongoing problems and a final completion point for their changesI am complimenting their efforts and then expressing my continued concerns, and then complimenting to keep an upbeat dialogue.I want you to know that I was trying to appeal to his sense of decency, and also show him how he can benefit financially, and let him know that if he does right by me and fixes everything that has gone wrong that this would be very beneficial to him since as I said before I like to tell people about positive experiences that I have hadObviously he did not read between the lines im my diplomatic means of telling him to get his act togetherI am not sure MrWellman knows what is going on with his workers well enough to understand the technicalities that needed to be addressed.I was trying to share with them in my desire to have a life with them taking care of my website needs so that I need not worry. In hindsight, my diplomacy was ineffective, but I did not want things to get sour when they had the keys, and I thought the means to fix what had happened.Thank you for bearing with me on thisI hope you have what you need, but if you need any more I will be glad to get it

I hope you can see my sense of concern and urgency in my letter to ECatalog about the ongoing problems and a final completion point for their changesI am complimenting their efforts and then expressing my continued concerns, and then complimenting to keep an upbeat dialogueI want you to know that I was trying to appeal to his sense of decency, and also show him how he can benefit financially, and let him know that if he does right by me and fixes everything that has gone wrong that this would be very beneficial to him since as I said before I like to tell people about positive experiences that I have hadObviously he did not read between the lines im my diplomatic means of telling him to get his act togetherI am not sure MrWellman knows what is going on with his workers well enough to understand the technicalities that needed to be addressedI was trying to share with them in my desire to have a life with them taking care of my website needs so that I need not worry. In hindsight, my diplomacy was ineffective, but I did not want things to get sour when they had the keys, and I thought the means to fix what had happenedThank you for bearing with me on thisI hope you have what you need, but if you need any more I will be glad to get it

Mr[redacted] contracted with
eCatalog Services on July 3rd, for the following:

250.00 SKU Extraction $

79.99We extracted the data from Amazon and began
optimizing his product SKUs right away.
On July 17th he was contacted by our SKU Development Project
Manager, [redacted], that he was in violation of Amazon policies with the
way he was listing his products. He
ultimately decided he would continue with the way his products were listed,
despite the knowledge that he was in violation and that Amazon could go so far
as to suspend his selling privileges if they ever notice. On July 22nd Mr[redacted] was
presented with the completed data files.
He was to review them for accuracy and any other issues before we upload
them to Amazon. However, all activity
ceased when Mr[redacted] notified us that he had changed his mind on the entire
project and was going to go in a different direction. On August 18th we received an email
that he had decided to stay with us and we took up where we had left off a
month earlier. He was again reminded
that he had the file of optimized SKUs that he needed to review before we would
upload them to Amazon. It was at that
time that he told us he had added some new listings and made changes to
existing listings during the month long hiatus.
We asked for the information he had added as any uploads we would do will
overwrite anything he added. There were also a couple of issues about his
product titles that were discussed. His
titles were unusually long and contained information that again, was against
Amazon's policies. This is an example of one of his product titles: AOR

Mr[redacted] was unable to provide
us with information about the changes/additions he had made. Furthermore, he agreed with us that his
titles were too long as he was also currently experiencing an inability to add
such long titles to Amazon. On August 26th,
he emailed [redacted] and told her that the files are "ready to go!" His files were uploaded to Amazon on August
28th, with errors, caused not by us, but by Amazon. Errors like this are very usual. He requested that we fix the errors, knowing
it would be at his expenseHe notified us of issues at 2:PM on
August 31st with the following
email:
"
I am having problems in general with my
site/store descriptions, images, inventory and worst of all my sales have plummetedThe majority of my
product that is going out right now is complimentary/promo for reviewsI don't know if eCatalog does a
comparison, but I think they should take a look."
But at 8:AM the very
next morning, we received the following from him:
"It appears that whatever
sales drop that was occurring has stopped, and sales are appearing strong
again I don't know what
happened, but it's working now, so thanks for whatever you did."
We had begun to look into
his sales but had done nothing else. The
reduction in sales and subsequent increase again was outside of anything we had
done. Then on September 8th he notified us that an item he no longer sells, a AOR power cord, was being
comingled with a listing for a scooter.
We were still resolving some listing issues with Amazon so we checked
our records. We were still working on
items, all stem bike lights, but no power cords. So once again, whatever was happening was
outside of anything we were doingThe very next day, Mr
[redacted] sent an email stating:
"Who do I talk
to about the changes, and what I need to doI wanted to check with someone
first before I started sometime later
next week with any modifications."
He was planning to make
changes to the listing data we had uploaded.
We let him know that he is free to make any modifications he'd like to
make. On September 11th, he
sent an email to [redacted] notifying her that there was an issue with certain
manufactures still being in the title of a certain listing (see the title noted
above) so we removed them. He thanked us
for the fix and stated that he was going to go into his listings and make some
changes to the warranty informationThen, days later on
September 21st, he sent the following email:
Hi

I
was just going through some of my notes and was wondering if you have a status update
on the progress of the
analysis you have initiated to determine the factors involved in the
continuing sales decline of my Amazon

any insight as to whether
the changes that were made to my existing products (i.ethe cleaning up by
[redacted]) will cause a rebound
in sales like I think you indicated this will help my ranking/visibility
Maybe that would offset some of the
other external factors you indicated that could be the causing the precipitous
drop in sales that has recently crossed
me in to my lowest income in over a year. Also,
I am happy to hear that one of my ongoing product issues is resolved now
Somehow, data was different with
the Webstore and Amazon store for the little compasses and it made a problemI
think I have a couple more compass
issues there she needs to look at (in between duties I have been attempting to survey the results of the fixes
that were made)Strangely, I did not have this problem before, and I am wondering why we still have the

you, and your team againI look forward to hearing from you soon.We presented him with
the results of our analysis and discussed the findings with him on September 24th. Bottom line – there was nothing definitive we
could see in his listings that caused his sales to drop since the beginning of
August. And remember, we did not touch
anything on his account until the end of August, after which he emailed us that
his sales had rebounded again. Then, on September 28th Mr[redacted] sent an email expressing his frustration about the stem light

We responded that same day letting him know that we were still working
with Amazon and had already spoken with them earlier in the day. We continued to work with Mr[redacted] to get
his listings squared away, including working with Amazon to get hijackers off a
couple of his best-selling products. (A
hijacker is a company that attaches their product to a listing, but their
product is different. One example would
be a listing for Lee Jeans, but the hijacker is trying to sell an off-brand on
that same listing)On October 2nd,
we sent the following email to Mr[redacted]: Hi [redacted],
I just wanted to let you now that I
checked the performance for the ASIN: B00K9X5AS, SKU AORStemBikeLight5LEDMultiColor since I had the hijackers
kicked off of your listing and here is what I found:
The first days of Sept, you had only orders for this item. The next days, Sept 26th-Oct 1st you have sold units(after item
was fixed)
It looks like it is starting to
rebound now that those other sellers are no longer listed on the same product pageLets hope it gets back to its peak
now! There are many, many more emails of this
type. Mr[redacted] began to see a
decline in sales nearly days before we changed any data in his Amazon
account. He was in violation of at least
two of Amazon's policies and even after we uploaded the file we had done (which
he approved), Mr[redacted] continued to make his own changes. His listings were being hijacked which has
nothing to do with his data, but will significantly impact his sales. (Hijacking
has been a huge issue for merchants selling on Amazon for the past 12-months
and we are under contract with many merchants to take care of this for
them. It is a perpetual fight as we can
get the hijacker off and they will be back on within hours, at which time we
need to start the process again.)I have not spent time detailing the progression
of the work on his webstore because it appears that is not his complaint. He has continued to work with [redacted],
the Project Manager for his webstore, which is ready to launch following Mr
Reynold's final review and approval. He is requesting the return of $3,for
issues that were not caused by us. Furthermore,
only $was paid for the optimization of his SKU Data. Therefore, we can see no reason to return the
fees he paid to us

Review: I employed this company to build a website for me. They said they needed to work on my Amazon catalog before convertiing it. For almost 3 months my listings were being changed, uploaded, re-uploaded, taken off the Amazon site. Entire pages disappeared, and supporting data along with it. Branding was lost. Descriptions were wrong, or disappeared, Bullets are lost, Attributes were deleted. Wrong descriptions causing customer complaints were made. I have deep systemic problems with my listings now that cause me countless hours of technical support with Amazon. Many of my listing are orphaned, and some I am still trying to revive. I had first page rank on many of my products and now I don't even see them. It took a lot of hard work to get to where I was.

My sales have literally nose dived as if I was shot out of the sky. I am so incredibly disheartened by this.

This Company has devastated my ECommerce site on Amazon. I can not tell you how bad they are. Not only that, I have been doing web in my service business myself and I understand sometimes it takes time to fix mistakes. I can not begin to explain how devastating this Ecatalog Services has been. I would never write a review like this if I had not given them all the time (almost and latitude to fix what is so badly broken now that it will take years to fix and may put me out of business.

This is my family livelihood and I paid them upfront a lot of money. It is sickening what they did. I am

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am not using their services for anything any more. Their claim that I am still using them is false. I do not want ECatalog to touch my business. What is interesting is that they mentioned [redacted] and I was given the impression that he is not part of their Company so this is news to me. I have spoken to [redacted], but have not engaged him for a website. I definetely will not be now that I know he works for them.
