Echo Lanes

Review: In August I went into Echo Lanes and reserved their party room for my child's birthday party which was to take place there from[redacted]. I watched them write my name and the time on the calendar that day and there were no other parties scheduled. The day of the party I got there an hour early to set up and was informed that they had double booked the room! So as a result, they shoved my 5 year olds party into their BAR! There was not adequate seating for our guests so the kids had to sit at the bar to eat their food. I then heard one of the kids say they saw a bug. At the time I didn't think much of it, but then a few of the adults said they saw them too, and my child's great uncle who just retired from the Trumbull County Housing Department identified them as ROACHES! I immediately went and told the employees at the front desk who in my opinion did not look as if it was the first time they had heard this. They did nothing. As we were getting our things immediately out of there to the car as to not risk taking them home we noticed them climbing on the shelves behind the bar where their clean glasses a located. This is disgusting and something needs to be done! I have never had such a poor experience in an establishment in my life! To clarify the monies I paid to them, was an initial deposit of 25.00 followed by the balance of 35.50, which is currently showing as being charged twice on my husbands credit card. It may be later in the week to see if that is actually charged twice as it is still listed under pending charges.Desired Settlement: I do believe that I should be returned the money I paid, but more importantly severe measures need to be taken to ensure future cleanliness of this establishment for future customers. No way should a place that serves drinks and food be allowed to have this level of filth! Also looking at my husbands credit card online the pending charge of 35.50 from Echo Lanes appears twice. It may take until later in the week to see if it is actually put through twice as it is still listed under pending.

Regarding complaint ID [redacted], the only contact I have had with Echo Lanes was by mail. They sent me a refund check.
