Review: I took my 2 bi-racial daughters into Eclectic Designs to get their hair put in cornrows and beaded on Sat. Aug 30th. I had a surgery scheduled that Monday and I did not want to have to worry about doing my daughters hair for her first day of kindergarten that Wednesday (the 3rd). I have had my oldest daughter's (the 5 year old) hair done there before by Dannine and was very please. It lasted weeks before I had to take it out. She did a great job with the cornrows and beads. This time when I called and spoke with the owner she said that Desi would be able to do it on Saturday. We went and Desi was very nice and the hair was cute. I went in for surgery that Monday and returned home Tuesday late in the day. Both my daughters hair had already started falling out. After spending $90 on this service that had lasted weeks before I was a bit upset that it had started falling out after only 4 days. I did what I could to fix it so my daughter wasn't so embarrassed on her first day of school, but I am not a professional. Even though I am not a professional, when I put my daughters hair in cornrows it last longer than a week so I was even more annoyed. I contacted Desi who said they would redo it if I wanted to pay. I had already paid $90, Why should I pay more? I talked to the owner who said she was going away and would call me when she returned which she didn't. I had to contact her when my mom drove by and saw their door was open, I told the owner I was taking out her hair. I had to take her somewhere else to get her hair done because my mom and husband don't know how to braid and I am recovering. I have had to go back and forth showing them proof that Dannine did her hair (which I had because the last time I had it done I posted a pic on Facebook of Dannine doing my daughters hair and then a couple of weeks later got a professional family pic done which is time stamped to prove it is in the same timeframe.) After a week of arguing via phone and text all I want is a refund.Desired Settlement: $90 refund
