As of 11/30/United Health Care does not show they are in receipt of a corrected claim from Eclipse. My doctors's office called Eclipse about the code they had used as well as my insurance company called them twice. The code my doctor's office sent over is not the code Eclipse billed my insurance.Why was I told when I booked appointment (after Eclipse received order from doctor, and verified insurance) that I owed $0.00.? What changed?This company is dishonest. Not one thing in their reponse to the Revdex.com was accurate

This claim was coded as a screening with V49.81 on originalsubmission. After many many calls from the health insurance, speaking with serveral customerservice reps that...

could not answer my questions I asked for a claims supervisor on 11-11-1S.upon speaking with the supervisor I explained that V49.81 was a screening code so why arethey not paying. She explained to me this patient particular policy only pays for 1 code V82.81for a screening. Even though all V codes are screening codes. So this is not a billing error its ainsurance policy limitations on codes. As a result I corrected the claim and rebilled the insurancewith the particular screening code since it was a screening. We are waiting for them toreprocess this claim. Understand that we do not just change a code upon the patients request,this would insurance fraud.Thank you1
