Aloha,We were hired by the N***’s to renovate some gardens around the homeOwners arrived on island when we were approximately 95% completed with the jobI met with the owner who pointed out areas that had yet to be completed, along with some irrigation issues, one of which was caused by the
Gas company when they backfilled their trenchesWe explained we were not completed with the job and that there were a number of other contractors on site, preventing us from finishingWe simply needed another week to wrap things up. At that time we had received zero payments or deposits for any of the work that had been completedUpon our requests for payment, for the work rendered, the owners decided they wanted to part ways; at which point we reached a verbal agreement, that was later put into writing by MrN***, please see the attached email. We were saddened that we were not permitted to complete the work we had started, had we been allowed to do so, any and all issue with the bougainvillea etcwould have been resolvedIn our 10+ years in business this is the first time we have not completed a job or had any complaints filedBased on the agreement reached there is no further obligations as stated in the final sentence of John N***’s email
