Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First of all, what the business stated in their response is incorrect I did not wait months to call them They have done two treatments already I waited weeks after the first treatment and waited weeks after the second treatment There is absolutely no effect of either treatment The ants were as active as before the treatment Second, they have never told me that it may need multiple treatments until I see any effects When I called for the third time and asked to terminate the contract, the owner told me that he did not know how many treatments it would take to get rid of the ants I would never sign the contract if he told me that upfront Third, it is not reasonable to accuse me of not allowing them to come to treat again As stated in the response, they were asking to come every weeks and they did not know how many times it would take to solve the problem To continue doing this, it requires me taking at least half an day off every weeks, and I pay $every months Actually the next payment is due in a month, basically after the next "free" treatment At the mean time, my household continue to suffer the ant activity in the kitchen This is not acceptable practice of any businessMy original request is justified Sincerely, [redacted] ***

First of all, what the business stated in their response is incorrect.  I did not wait 2 months to call them.  They have done two treatments already.  I waited 4 weeks after the first treatment and waited 3 weeks after the second treatment.  There is absolutely no effect of either treatment.  The ants were as active as before the treatment.  
Second, they have never told me that it may need multiple treatments until I see any effects.  When I called for the third time and asked to terminate the contract, the owner told me that he did not know how many treatments it would take to get rid of the ants.  I would never sign the contract if he told me that upfront. 
Third, it is not reasonable to accuse me of not allowing them to come to treat again.  As stated in the response, they were asking to come every 3 weeks and they did not know how many times it would take to solve the problem.  To continue doing this, it requires me taking at least half an day off every 3 weeks, and I pay $108.41 every 3 months.  Actually the next payment is due in a month, basically after the next "free" treatment.  At the mean time, my household continue to suffer the ant activity in the kitchen.  
This is not acceptable practice of any business. My original request is justified.

We are truly sorry the customer is upset; however, the customer is not allowing us to perform our treatment.  As we state on our website, it can take multiple treatments to eradicate ants during the winter months.  We ask that the customer contact us every two to three weeks until the ants...

are gone.  This customer has only called us back once and it was almost two months between service!  We stated to the customer that the process to get rid of ants requires more treatments this time of year, yet the customer refuses to do any more treatments because she is "too busy".  I get it, people are busy and ants are annoying, but it's a process to get rid of ants.  There is no silver bullet when it comes to getting rid of ants....it takes time and work.  We are more than willing to keep coming out for free to do treatments for the customer, but the customer is not willing.  For our year-long customers our guarantee is that we'll keep coming out for free until the problems is resolved.  We use the mot effective products and methods out there to get rid of ants and I'm confident we can get rid of her ants, but the customer needs to have us out there every few weeks until they are gone.  After we get rid of them, then our maintenance program is ideal to keep them away long term.  If the customer allows us to come back and treat a few more times and we still cannot solve her problem, we'd be glad to let her out of her contract without any penalty whatsoever.  All we are asking is for the opportunity to do our job correctly.
