Purchased a transmission from ECO Green Auto Parts that was miss advertised they claim to have refunded my money but still have not received funds.

11/13/18 told refund will take 3-5 business days
11/15/18 told refund should be coming Monday
11/20/18 no refund still they said it's been refunded on their end and no longer anything they can do

Desired Outcome

Requesting refund of $612 along with amount of interest accrued due to not receiving refund and miss leading product information.

Sorry for the inconveniences, we processed your refund on 11/10/2018 thru paypal (the same day that we talked to you). We sent you the paypal refund confirmation. This funds were partially deducted from our paypal account and our bank account as well (I attach both transaction confirmations). The delay is because of the banks and credit card company. Again we apologize for the inconvenience but it is out of our hands.

The auto part ordered was not delivered as purchased. Eco Green has not payed any amount to repair the damage.
I purchased a Nissan Armada door from ecogreen auto parts. My mechanic found damage on the door that was not reported by ecogreen when purchased. We called ecogreen and were told to install the part and they would pay for the repair since the shipping was insured. We got estimates for the repair and sent them to ecogreen. Ecogreen is now not willing to pay for the repairs and will not inform me who the shipping company was. My suspicion is the part was not insured and I was lied to. The bottom line is I have a damaged part on my Armada because they did not hold up their end of the agreement. This is not ethical business behavior and they need to be repremanded.

Desired Outcome

I am asking they pay for the repair as they promised over the phone in December. We have sent the estimate from our local shop.

Mr. last contacted our sales rep on March 3rd demanding shipping company information which we gave to him during that call. The damages during freight were very minimal and it seems as if he is trying to get free merchandise. All of our freight shipments are insured, But it is at the freight companies desire to allow how much they are willing to pay for. They have decided they would allow up to $75 for the insured value of the damage they were presented in the pictures. We are willing to match price in refund for what they felt was necessary to be refunded. We cannot make any guarantee as if the total amount for the part would be paid for as we are not the shipping company.We have offered Mr. the amount of $150 for the damages caused by shipping but he refuses to take that amount.

I agree that Ecogreen has offered $150 to make the situation right. The problem is that I have quotes from different repair shops in our area and the lowest is $490. I am not trying to get free money just get my door back to how it was when I paid for it. I have been given the run around through this whole process. Ecogreen does not seem to care whether this is resolved or not. All correspondence has been due to me.....they do not respond to emails or phone calls. I want my door to be the way I purchased it.

Thank you for your patience about this transaction with us.
After reviewing your comments, our sales representative Casey (Rick is gone so I couldn't get an official statement of what was the conversation with you) and the insurance company, here is my opinion and proposal to resolve this matter.
We do our best effort to protect and wrap our merchandise so this kind of situation would not happen, and also we insurance all parts. Sometimes it does happen with freight shipping companies that are not careful when they are shipping parts, and unfortunately this type of situation occurs such as you have gone through.
We are here to help you and it is not reasonable for us to hide from you or not to meet your request, we want to make everything right, so it is not reasonable for us to hide from you or not to meet your request, and the reason by offering a partial refund on your claim is because the freight company, after evaluating the photos that you sent us, they made the decision that the damaged door was not totally lost so they decided that the repair cost was for $75. With that decision, we made inquiries with 3 trusted collision companies and after showing your photos with them, they came out to a conclusion that the repair of the door ranged between $100 and $200, so we decided to offer you $150, which is double of what the freight company decided to pay for your claim. We have no doubt about the fees or professionalism of your mechanic, but a $490 fees in comparison with $100-$200 is a notable difference to fix the door (especially if the value of the door was for $400 plus shipping)

ECO does not cover labor guarantees but only limited mechanicals parts warranty. With body parts, if the customer rejects the body part, so we issue a full refund. Please consider our proposal either to accept the $150 partial refund or send us the door back to our Orlando facility, and we will gladly refund the total amount of $560. We don't mind to send you another door but we do not currently have one in stock and it would take time to find a black Nissan Armada door in the auction. Also, exchanging the current damage door with a new one would be more expensive due the freight company cost. We do care about you and we look forward to do business with you again and help your needs in the future.
