With regards to the days / night hotel accommodations, the hotels used are at one of hundreds of nationally known hotels; such as *** *** *** and their hotel affiliatesThe card which *** *** received from us does not have an expiration date on it and once ready to use the accommodations you simply mail it to us or bring it in person to our location so we may supply the customer with the reservation request form which has an expiry date of months after the issue date to the customerThis is done in this manner so that customers may redeem the vacation package when they are prepared to use it as appose to leaving the request form with the customer right away and therefore giving them months to use itThe card *** *** received states that "This offer is subject to change or withdrawal at anytime without notice" as hotels and destinations may change or be withdrawn between the date the customer has received the voucher for the request form and the time the customer decides to redeem the card for the request form and go on the vacation at their discretion in the futureAs this is out of our control, we disclose this on the voucher Mr*** received

To Whom it May Concern,We would like to apologize for any misunderstanding that may have occurred at the time of [redacted] purchase.  However, everything which is included with [redacted] purchase of the [redacted] air purifier is given to each customer in their "First Call Special" package...

in writing.  This package states that [redacted] is entitled to a yearly service of his [redacted] air purification system at any authorized [redacted] distributor or service location.  Unfortunately, Prince George is currently not a large enough city to support a [redacted] distribution center and at no time has our company ever advertised or stated either written or orally that we had or have definitive plans to open a location in Prince George.  In [redacted] package it states that: "In the event that the [redacted] product must be shipped to the [redacted] Dealer or Service Center for repair, any and all shipping costs will be at the owners expense". With respect to the Eco-Sustainability Fee of $57.12 + applicable tax, this charge is attached to every filter either purchased or received by any customer under their "First Call Special" package.  [redacted] package explains that he is entitled to a replacement filter once per year for 25 years and that Eco-Sustainability, disposal, freight and taxes are separate. This Fee is a fee charged by [redacted] and not part of any surcharge or tax imposed by or remitted to any governmental or regulatory agency and is fully explained on our website (which is provided in [redacted] paperwork) in its entirety as to its purpose, when the fee is charged, etc. (disposal of filters has nothing to do with the Eco-Sustainability Fee). In conclusion, Eco Health Solutions has provided [redacted] with everything promised to him in writing and have / will honor his package as agreed upon in writing at the time of his purchase.  In an act of good faith, I would like to offer to personally cover the Eco-Sustainability Fee and shipping cost on the replacement filter from Edmonton to [redacted] residence for his first filter replacement in April of 2017. Best Regards,Dominic P[redacted]Co-OwnerEco Health Solutions Inc.

To [redacted],I would like to begin by giving my sincere apology for how this matter was handled by our manager.  I am not one who likes to make excuses, however with recent company expansion Mark has recently been assigned from service manager to become our new office manager in recent...

weeks. It is clearly evident from the way Mark handled this scenario he has a lot to learn when it comes to customer service as well as dealing with an unhappy customers concerns and needs.  With regards, to the gift you were left by our sales representative on Friday November 11, 2016; he is to have two gifts on him for a customer to choose from for taking the time to go through the in-home presentation. At this time, the gifts offered are either for travel or home/personal use and are the choice between a 3 day/ 2 night hotel accommodation or a mini [redacted] air purifier which can be used in the home or a vehicle and is a small version of the air purifier the sales representative would have demonstrated.  This particular sales representative [redacted] did not come into the office to re-stock himself with the second gift we currently offer before heading on appointments for the day. To whom it may concern, This response is with regards to a complaint filed by [redacted] on April 11, 2017. In this response I will chronologically explain the series of events between the date of purchase up until the date this complaint was filed (April 11, 2017). The sequence events...

show that [redacted] and [redacted] did not cancel within the legal time frame for a customer to cancel their purchase. 1. February 22, 2017: [redacted] purchased the [redacted] air purifier serial number [redacted] (also referred to herein as "product") and paid in full by cheque (this cheque will also be referred to as the "original cheque" from hereon) 2. March 1, 2017: [redacted] faxed a letter to Eco Health Solutions stating they wished to cancel the purchase of their [redacted] air purifier serial number [redacted] made of February 22, 2017. This letter was acknowledged by Eco Health Solutions and arrangements were made with the [redacted]'s for the sales representative from Eco Health Solutions who sold them the product to come by [redacted]'s residents on Saturday March 4, 2017 to pick up the product and cancel the purchase made on February 22, 2017. 3. March 4, 2017: The sales representative from Eco Health Solutions who sold the product to [redacted] and [redacted] went to their home to pick up the [redacted] air purifier serial number [redacted].  At this time while the sales representative was at the [redacted]'s home they expressed to him that they liked the machine and would like to keep it but felt that the price they purchased it for was too much for them.  It was at this time that the sales rep with authorization from Eco Health Solutions management the [redacted]s were asked if they were to receive an additional discount on the product to make it cheaper for them if that would help them and if they would be consider keeping the product instead of going through with the cancellation.  The [redacted]s decided that the additional discount would be of great help and if Eco Health Solutions could give them the additional discount they would like to keep the product and not cancel their purchase.  It was at this time, a new receipt was written to show the new sales price after the additional discount so both Eco Health Solutions and the [redacted]s have records of what the final price paid by the [redacted]'s for the product was.  As this was simply an additional discount being given to the [redacted]'s and the product was not being resold to them as the product never left their home and at no time was physically returned to Eco health Solutions;the date of sale and date the product was delivered to the [redacted]'s would not change and thus would remain the same as the original date of purchase and delivery which was February 22, 2017.  It was also explained that this would make their purchase final as their legal right to cancel would expire after March 4, 2017; the [redacted]'s understood this and were fine with this and stated that with the additional discount they wished to keep the product.  At this point, it was explained that the original cheque written for the purchase on February 22, 2017 had been deposited by Eco Health Solutions on February 27, 2017 but the funds had not yet to date been verified by the [redacted]'s bank and as a result Eco Health Solutions would need to take a replacement cheque in the amount of the newly discounted price just incase the original cheque written did not clear for some or any reason.  It was explained to the [redacted]s that the replacement cheque written by the [redacted]'s and dated March 4, 2017 would only be deposited by Eco Health Solutions if the original cheque did not clear or was not verified by the [redacted]'s bank.  If the original cheque written by the [redacted]'s written on February 22, 2017 cleared then the replacement cheque given on March 4, 2017 would NOT be cashed and would be destroyed (shredded) by Eco Health Solutions and a rebate cheque for the additional discount given on March 4, 2017 would be mailed out to the [redacted]'s in the amount of the additional discount which was $475.10 and acknowledged by the [redacted]'s in their complaint to the Revdex.com. 4. March 7, 2017: The [redacted]'s faxed in a new cancellation letter to Eco Health Solutions which is unfortunately after the [redacted]'s legal right to cancel the purchase made on February 22, 2017 had expired. 5. March 7 - March 13, 2017:  Eco Health Solutions management attempts to contact the [redacted]'s by phone to explain that unfortunately they can no longer cancel the purchase as their final day to cancel was March 4, 2017 the day which our sales representative was in their home, explained this to them and they accepted the additional discount and decided to not cancel their purchase and keep the product. 6. March 13, 2017:  As I along with my business partner personally were away out of the country together on a  holiday with our families and both out of the office from February 28, 2017 until Monday March 13, 2017 the rebate cheque for the additional discount given to the [redacted]'s on March 4, 2017 could not be written until our return on this date as we are the only individuals with financial signing authority for Eco Health Solutions.  As it was now shown by this date that the original cheque written by the [redacted]'s for their purchase of the [redacted] air purifier serial number [redacted] had been verified and cleared the replacement cheque written by the [redacted]'s on March 4, 2017 was voided, shredded and destroyed by Eco Health Solutions.  On March 13, 2017 a rebate cheque was written by my business partner to the [redacted]'s in the amount of the additional discount ($475.10) and mailed to their address as shown on their receipts.  7. March 13 -  March 26, 2017: I, Dominic P[redacted] personally tried contacting the [redacted]'s by phone in an attempt to speak the the [redacted]'s and explain that unfortunately the purchase could no longer be cancelled after March 4, 2017 and that their original cheque written on the date of purchase (February 22, 2017) had cleared and a rebate cheque for the additional discount given and they accepted on March 4, 2017 had now been mailed out to them and the replacement cheque written on March 4, 2017 had been destroyed as promised by Eco Health Solutions at the [redacted]'s home on March 4, 2017. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact the [redacted]'s were unsuccessful and they did not return my calls. 8. March 27, 2017:  The replacement cheque written in the amount of the additional discount given by Eco Health Solutions and accepted by [redacted] on March 4, 2017 was deposited by the [redacted]'s into their bank account and cleared/was withdrawn from Eco Health Solutions bank account on March 27, 2017.  This now finalizes the delivery of all products and any additional conditions pertaining to the [redacted]'s purchase of the [redacted] air purifier serial number [redacted] made on February, 22, 2017. 9. April 11, 2017: [redacted] filed this complaint to the Revdex.com. In conclusion, as this timeline of events leading up to the filing of this complaint with the Revdex.com demonstrates and shows; the [redacted]'s unfortunately did not cancel within the allotted time to cancel their purchase by law.  Eco Health Solutions and it's representatives did not conduct themselves in any erroneous way or do anything mischievous or outside the rules of any laws in the handling of this matter.  Everything was explained to the [redacted]'s, signed and delivered to them in writing both at the time of purchase and the time of offer and acceptance of the additional discount by the [redacted]'s on March 4, 2017.  Although this is not likely the response [redacted] were hoping to receive, unfortunately asking for and accepting a further/additional discount on the purchase of any product at any later date does not void or cancel the original purchase or restart/reset a customers lawful cancellation period. It is for the reasons as explained herein that we unfortunately cannot cancel and/or take back a product which has been used by any customer after their lawful cancellation period has expired. If the [redacted]'s are concerned as to whether their replacement cheque written on March 4, 2017 was voided so it cannot be cashed by Eco Health Solutions, a photocopy as proof it was voided was made prior to its shredding; and I would be happy to provide this to them so they have it for their records and provide peace of mind.    Sincerely, Dominic P[redacted]Co-OwnerEco Health Solutions Inc.

[redacted]  [redacted] Assignment ID [redacted] Regarding our dispute with Eco Health Solutions In. We Purchased an air purifier from Eco Health Sollutions on Feb. 22nd, 2017 and paid for it with a cheque made out to the company for $3098.00 and dated Feb 22, 2017. On March 1, 2017 we faxed Eco Health Solutions Inc. within the 10 day time limit canceling the agreement and asking them pick up their machine and to return our cheque of $3098.00 as well as our trade-in unit with its written matterial. At that time we concidered the cheque to be dead, no longer cashable.The agreement had been canceled. The Representative from Eco Health Solutions returned on March 4, 2017 and we drew up another contract for $2622.90 for the same purifier. This cheque is dated March 4, 2017. We have made a totally new agreement but for the same air purifier. On March7th, 2017 I again faxed Eco Health Services, with-in the 10 day time limit of this NEWEST agreement asking again for cancellation of the agreement, return of our cheque and our trade-in unit with written material. WE have made two distinct agreements and have canceled each one within the allotted time as specified time by Eco Health Solutions. They have used the date of the first agreement cheque for $3098.00 to say we did not cancel with the 10 day limit. That cheaue was not connected to the second agreement and SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN USED.  IT DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SECOND AGREEMENT.The only connection between the two agreements was that we were dealing on the same air purifier.When the second agreement was made I wrote out the cheque for the correct amount but I did not sign the cheque at that time. I did sign and give it to him before he left our home. The sales person, Doug Murray, had the cheque when he left. The cheque for $2622.90 WAS THE ONLY CHEQUE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN USED TO PAY FOR THE AIR PURIFIER.  By using the first cheque and mailing us a cheque for the difference was an underhanded way of doing business  This is our argument and we it is honest and truthful. Sincerely;  [redacted] & [redacted]

In regards to Revdex.com Assignment  ID [redacted] - [redacted].As explained in our previous response to this matter, on March 1, 2017 our representative went to the [redacted]’s home to pick up and cancel the purchase made by them on February 22, 2017.  It was at this time that the [redacted]’s decided on their own accord that they wished to keep the product purchased from Eco Health Solutions on February 22, 2017 in exchange for a discount off the original purchase price.  It was also at this time Eco Health Solution’s sales representative explained that our company had already deposited the original cheque for the [redacted]’s purchase on February 27, 2017 which was 2 days prior to the [redacted]’s faxing in a letter to our office on March 1, 2017.  Due to this fact, the [redacted]’s have unfortunately drawn up an assumption that the original cheque would ever be considered “dead” as they mention or cancelled by our company; as this would be absolutely impossible considering the cheque had already been deposited 2 days prior to their fax and 5 days prior to their acceptance of an additional discount and deciding NOT to cancel their purchase made on February 22, 2017.Furthermore, on March 4, 2017 it was also fully explained to [redacted] and [redacted] that the new receipt would show their original purchase date of February 22, 2017 as they had decided NOT to cancel and retract their wish to cancel their purchase as stated in their faxed letter to Eco Health Solutions on March 1, 2017 because of the additional discount being received on March 4, 2017.  It was also explained that the receipt was simply being written to show the amended price so both the [redacted]’s and Eco Health Solutions had copies of the final price paid by the [redacted]’s  for their purchase made on February 22, 2017. Furthermore, if this were not the case the [redacted]’s would have never signed the receipt showing the price adjustment dated February 22, 2017 and would have never agreed to nor written a “back up cheque” in case the original cheque already deposited on February 27, 2017 did not clear for whatever reason (ie. Stop payment, insufficient funds, etc.) ; and the [redacted]’s certainly would never have deposited the discount cheque into their bank account on or before March 27, 2017 if they truly believed they had cancelled the original contract as they say.In conclusion, it is unfortunate that the [redacted]’s have arrived at or decided to draw up their own personal assumptions with regards to this matter after everything was explained in full, agreed upon and signed by both parties on March 4, 2017.  In Canada it is law that a customer has 10 days to cancel  the contract from the date in which they enter the contract and receive a copy of the contract (February 22, 2017).  This law is in place to give customers ample time to cancel and return the product/s purchased.   This law does not state nor is in place to create loopholes for customers to state they would like to cancel then change their mind and decide to keep the product in an attempt to “restart” the 10 day cancellation period so that they may state that they wish to cancel again or repeatedly in the future thus turning the situation into a never ending “trial period”.   I apologize if this response may seem or come across as abrupt however I am simply just trying to be direct with regards to this matter as it seems we are beginning to go in circles.  The [redacted]’s fully understand, agreed and accepted everything with regards to this matter and proved so by signing the receipt showing the new price given on March 4, 2017 and depositing the discount cheque issued by Eco Health Solutions into their personal bank account on or before March 27, 2017.Our company will continue to provide all of the warranty and service packages given to the [redacted]’s as agreed upon at the time of sale but unfortunately cannot and will not cancel the purchase made on February 22, 2017 or take the product back. Sincerely,Dominic P[redacted]

With respect to our appointment booking representative "[redacted]" asking for personal information, this is simply not the case. We do NOT ask for people's personal information, ie. Date of birth, Credit Card info, social insurance information, etc. We simply confirm the information we already have or complete missing information from survey's, ballots, etc. We do this for the purpose of accuracy as in some cases as explained above, the information on a ballot or from a survey done months or years prior is incorrect, has changed, was incomplete or was filled out by someone else. The questions which would be asked for confirmation or to fill in information that was missing from a survey or ballot are: Does anyone in the home suffer from any type of breathing problems? Does anyone in the home smoke? Are there any pets in the home such as a cat or dog? What is your general field of employment or are you retired?
With respect to "[redacted]" saying Mrs. [redacted] won a $300 gift, this is a simple misunderstanding and something that was misinterpreted. All of our appointment booking representatives follow a script which explains who we are, our reason for calling, and states that as part of an advertising promotion we are offering a gift valued at $300 for allowing our company to demonstrate our air purifier to you in your home. At no time does our company say "you have won a prize or gift"; unfortunately in some cases, individuals misinterpret our offer of a gift valued at $300 in exchange for their time to view our product as they have won something and in some cases won $300 which is simply not the case nor what our representatives say.

In conclusion, our company operates and follows all rules, guidelines and laws as set out by federal, provincial and municipal government bodies. We apologize for this misunderstanding and will remove [redacted] from our current calling list. However, it must be understood that it is out of our control if in the future we receive information from a questionnaire, survey, ballot, etc. at some point in the future when calling lists are updated from new leads.

I am accepting the response from the business because they said they would take me off their contact list. [redacted] the caller worded things to lead me to believe the only reason he wanted to come to my house was to "deliver the gift". At that point in the conversation, there was no mention of a product demonstration, or that I would not receive the gift if I did not submit to a product demonstration. The caller was more concerned about getting my address. [redacted]
