-They did tell me verbally that the vehicle was rust free And it does has extensive rust I can show proof from the bill I'm about to receive from replacing the rear leaf springs and all shocks All connecting points had to be replaced do to heavy rust.-I would not confuse nearly flawless interior as being a flawless interior, but I would not expect a nearly flawless interior to need repairs in the leather b/c of a tear.-Service was absolutely not to date When I had the oil changed at [redacted] , they showed me there and it was very old It definitely had not been done for a very long time Also, transmission was in desperate need of a flush, transfer case and both differentials had most likely never been changed and the fluid in the radiator was so old and rusty I am having to replace the entire radiator.-Mr [redacted] did send me $300, but it was not for the cracked windshield It was for the headliner that needed to be replaced He had told me that it was repaired and when the vehicle arrived it was falling down in many areas of the vehicle I didn't mention the headliner in my complaint because Mr [redacted] did take care of that The windshield I had to pay for myself.-The listing did not "plainly state" that the tires were "not new." However, it did say they had 75% tread on them I took this too mean that the tires were going to be good for 75% of the amount of time that a tire would last When I drove the vehicle over mph on the highway, there was a terrible shake and I had to pull over on the side of the highway I took it to an alignment shop and they told me that the tires had obviously been sitting for a very long time They were all misshapen which is why the car shook violently going down the highway They also told me to go purchase new tires immediately because these were so dry rotted on the inside that they were worried for our safety They said they could literally pop at any time while driving down the road.-I understood I was buying a used vehicle and I accept the fact that I didn't drive to SC to do an inspection However, I read the description of the vehicle that told about a car that "drives flawlessly" and also talked with *** multiple times and asked many questions about rust, recent service, etc The vehicle did not at all drive flawlessly and needed $4000+ just to be driveable I have the receipts to prove it I understand what it means to buy a used vehicle, but Mr [redacted] told me and what he wrote in his description did not at all line up with the vehicle I received.-If they drove this Jeep even one time, I don't know how they could claim that they "disagree with Mr [redacted] as to the running of the Jeep." It spat and sputtered as soon as I received it because it needed all new plugs and wires and shook violently while driving down the road over or mph.-I suppose this is fine and I don't dispute that the listing states they have days to send me the title His lack of communication (because of a vacation he took shortly after, I later found out) was just frustrating I also became very nervous once I read the Google reviews online The eBay reviews are all good The Google reviews are not and I became very nervous

In response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, I will try to address each concern.  - We never stated that the vehicle was completely rust free.  In fact, we posted 7 under body pictures in the listing.  That being said, this vehicle has minimal corrosion considering its age (20 years).-...

"Leather upholstery is in nearly flawless condition with little visible wear."  Again, not to parse words, but customer is again stating inaccuracies to state that we advertised "flawless interior".- Listing was accurate as to the service date, not sure why customer is complaining because he thought something in the listing was a typo, but it was correct.- Vehicle did arrive to customer with a cracked windshield.  After viewing pictures and the bill of lading by the transporter (which did not show that damage yet showed multiple minor imperfections), we concluded that it must have happened in transport.  The transporter would not accept responsibility.  Nevertheless, we sent Mr. [redacted] $300 to cover the repair.- In the listing, there are FORTY-THREE pictures that show the tires, SEVEN of which are CLOSE-UP PICTURES.  The listing plainly states they are not new, with "about 75% tread."- Again, as stated in the listing, in response to the customer saying that the vehicle needed alignment. Our listing plainly states on this 20 year old [redacted], "Pre-purchase inspections are not only allowed, but recommended.  We sell used vehicles, please be aware that we try our best to accurately describe the condition and appearance of our vehicles, but ultimately it is the purchaser's responsibility to inspect vehicles before the sale and all vehicles are sold as-is, where-is, F.O.B. [redacted], SC.  All sales are final. We sell used vehicles.  Used vehicles usually have dings, dents, scratches, and other cosmetic blemishes.  Used vehicles have thousands of moving parts.  Sometimes these parts need repair or replacement. Please expect the usual wear and tear consistent with a vehicle's age and mileage, as well as use."- We totally disagree with Mr. [redacted] as to the running condition of the Jeep.  We take pride in our honest and straight forward approach to selling used cars.  - As stated in the listing: "We have 45 days from date of sale (funding) to deliver title to customer by law, it usually takes substantially less time, but keep that in mind."  Having to wait a little over a week for the title is totally normal.- The customer's address on his license was not his current address. As a dealer, we must use the information on the Driver License in the paperwork, it is his responsibility to update his license and not doing so is a violation of the law.  - a copy of the online listing can be viewed here: [redacted]

-They did tell me verbally that the vehicle was rust free.  And it does has extensive rust.  I can show proof from the bill I'm about to receive from replacing the rear leaf springs and all 5 shocks.  All connecting points had to be replaced do to heavy rust.-I would not confuse nearly flawless interior as being a flawless interior, but I would not expect a nearly flawless interior to need repairs in the leather b/c of a tear.-Service was absolutely not to date.  When I had the oil changed at [redacted], they showed me there and it was very old.  It definitely had not been done for a very long time.  Also, transmission was in desperate need of a flush, transfer case and both differentials had most likely never been changed and the fluid in the radiator was so old and rusty I am having to replace the entire radiator.-Mr. [redacted] did send me $300, but it was not for the cracked windshield.  It was for the headliner that needed to be replaced.  He had told me that it was repaired and when the vehicle arrived it was falling down in many areas of the vehicle.  I didn't mention the headliner in my complaint because Mr. [redacted] did take care of that.  The windshield I had to pay for myself.-The listing did not "plainly state" that the tires were "not new."
