We are reviewing all the information received and will be contacting the customers.

The sales representative is a seasoned window sales consultant with 15 years experience.  I questioned him about how long he informs customers it will take from point of sale to delivery of materials (on window orders) and his response is 4-6 weeks for all custom window orders....

 
 
There is also the factor of slowed production and delivery of East coast products due to the wild-fires we have been dealing with here in the Northwest.  Delivery trucks from all industries had been slowed down or redirected to longer than usual routes.  This in turn set delivery schedules back an additional two weeks or more.
 
Delivery setbacks also affect currently scheduled projects and push them back as well.  Each project is prioritized based on date of sale, so more than just this project was pushed further due to things out of our control.  
 
Our original target install date based from the date of sale was late July/ early August.  With the push-back, later August is still on target for an average start-to-finish.
 
Our customer service and scheduling manager was questioned about communication with the customers and was not aware that there was any issue with exchange of information other than us not having the ability to schedule the project due to materials having a delay on delivery.  Our manager also keeps notes on communications.
 
Regardless, the materials are in and our crews are caught up to this project.  The project installs this week and the customer has been notified.
 
If there are any issues as far as workmanship or materials, we provide a 10 year warranty on all projects.
