Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below the company claims my complaint was unfounded, which is not true As of the date I submitted the original complaint, EcoChoice had not refunded my $ [redacted] and the manager had not called my wife or I to resolve the matter, even though a week had passed since we called the company and talked to the receptionist about this matter; we were told that the manager would call back the following day, but this never happened even a week later Furthermore, the fact that EcoChoice did eventually refund my money, in response to this complaint, shows that my complaint was justified I am not trying to smear this company's name, but simply knew that complaining to the Revdex.com would help to resolve this situation, and it did However, this is not to say that I do not mind informing other potential customers about the difficulties I have had with this company; I am a customer advocate, not only for myself, but other people, especially those who are easily taken advantage of I do not feel I was ever rude or cynical, if anything, the manager of EcoChoice was rude, and certainly not customer friendly--his response letter indicates this As you know, at no time did he or his receptionist apologize for the poor (delayed) service they provided--not only in performing the actual service in the first place, but also in returning my refund I realize the customer is not always right, but in this case, I was justified, while EcoChoice was not Regards, [redacted]

Review: I contracted EcoChoice to install a patio at my residence in May of 2014. The signed agreement states there is a 24 month full warranty. During the month of June 2015 I needed some repairs completed so I tried contacting the company via the e-mail addresses and phone numbers listed on their website. I found this to be a fruitless effort as the e-mails were undeliverable and voice messages were never returned. As a result, I began to contact the owner of the company directly.

I called and left a voicemaiI on the owner's cell phone. The greeting on the owner's cell phone states that the best way to get in touch is by text or e-mail. I then tried to contact the owner by e-mail on three different occasions to complete these repairs but did not receive a response. I sent a text message on July 10th asking if my e-mails were received but still did not receive a response. On July 30th I finally received a message via e-mail stating: "I will look into it". I replied to this e-mail on August 12th asking when I could expect the repairs to be completed but I still did not receive a response. On September 2nd, I again sent an e-mail asking for an update. I requested to be contacted by close of business September 4th else I would be forced into taking further action. September 4th came and went and still no reply.

On September 17th, I finally received an e-mail from the owner stating: "I will do my best to get the crew out to make the adjustments to the patio, but it is out of warranty so you will have to understand I am trying to work this into our schedule." I replied back to the owner that the warranty is valid until May of 2016 as stated on the signed agreement. More than one full month later I have still not received any replies. By failing to make these repairs under warranty EcoChoice will be violating the signed agreement and could be subject to litigation.Desired Settlement: Repair work to be completed under warranty within the next two weeks.

Review: I contracted to have the exterior of my house, to include my deck, cleaned for $685; $210 was for the deck and $475 was for the siding of the house. A $350 down-payment (by check) was given to the company on 29 Mar 14. When the company arrived on 14 Apr 14, they were only able to clean the deck, saying that the siding was too old to clean without possible damage.I called the company later that same day, on 14 Apr 14, to inquire about my refund for $140 ($350 down-payment minus $210 for the cost of cleaning my deck). The company's office person said that the manager, [redacted], would call the next day, on 15 Apr 14. It is now a week later (22 Apr 14) and we have still not received a phone call back, and we have not received any refund for the $140 owed to us. Getting return calls from this company has been impossible in the past, and I see this time there is no difference.Desired Settlement: Refund for $140.

To VVhom it Concerns,

In response the complaint filed by [redacted] we respond that this claim is unfounded and should be expunged from our record. We completed a portion of the contracted work for [redacted] and upon completion found that the services would not benefit the age of his exterior but rather cause more deterioration to the siding. We offered [redacted]'s wife who was home at the time several options that we could explore.

The [redacted] decided not to utilize any of the options that would allow us to proceed with working on their home so a credit for the $[redacted] was issued on check#[redacted] and has since cleared out bank account. . During our time working with [redacted] he became rude and cynical and we maintained a professional attitude. We assured [redacted] that we would steward his investment the best we could and therefore honoring a credit was the right choice due to the nature of his old weathered siding.

In closing [redacted] again was treated with respect and all services completed we done so in a professional manner. His credit was offered, accepted and has been

cleared by our bank.

[redacted] threatened to smear our name anyway he could way before we even completed the job fully, so it was apparent we were going to experience fallout with him. I would appreciate that this claim/case be closed without causing more damage to our name.

I am not trying to smear this company's name, but simply knew that complaining to the Revdex.com would help to resolve this situation, and it did. However, this is not to say that I do not mind informing other potential customers about the difficulties I have had with this company; I am a customer advocate, not only for myself, but other people, especially those who are easily taken advantage of.
