However, I was informed by [redacted] and [redacted] , that by the time they spoke with you on the issue, that you had already... started dismantling the machine to self diagnose. This technically voids the warranty, however, I am willing to let that slide. There also seems to be some miscommunication on the price of machines you mentioned. If you were truly looking to be a distributor and purchase in minimum quantities, the cost to you is much less than what you stated. However, since you only purchased 1 machine, that would put you into the dealer category, in which you would have to pay full price for this initial machine. However, you were given a 10% discount anyway, which is above and beyond what we do. As far as the humidity level and production, there is miscommunication there too. Our machines produce UP TO 8 gallons a day at ideal (70-80%) humidity. This is what we advertise verbally and on our website. As far as the machine being the newest model out there, it technically is. We did upgrade to a newer display. But it is only newer in terms of looks. The new display does not add any upgraded features to the machine. It is only cosmetic. In the end, we would be happy to look at the machine if you want to bring it into to us. It is a perk of our local customers, as people further away have to pay to ship their machines to us (as shipping and transportation is not covered under warranty). If the customer is unable to wait for their machine, we will be happy to refund them. We never refused to do so. Our company policy is that it can possibly take up to 14 business days for a refund to process. As stated in the email to the customer, both owners are traveling right now meeting with government agencies in Saudi Arabia and South Africa on water issues. The email the customer quoted clearly states that we will refund them, so we are not sure why they had to take the issue to the Revdex.com. The customer can choose to still receive their machine, or choose to be refunded, both of which would happen around the same time.
