So, if you do check the cars, how then did I have a bad thermostat, that I noticed right off the bat after having the car a week, then noticed the tires were bald on the inside, then had electrical problems every other month with coil packs...etcyou get the idea!!! if you check your vehicles then you would have reported the problem on the problem sheet which you did notI would have never have bought that car if it that many problems to begin withit needs over $in repairs right now, thats just for the electricalI fixed the thermostat but I don't have the funds to be shelling out problemsI want you to take the pos car back and stop lieing about checking your crap cars with the point inspectionIf you checked then I want to see proof of it!!! Not a made up version eitherI wouldn't have had to go to you guys if my credit was stellarIn the paperwork there is nothing about you checking anything!

At the time of signing the customer signs a GPS disclosure that says, "there may or may not be a GPS in this vehicle." The customer was insistent on making an appointment to get the GPS removed or see if there was actually a GPS in the vehicleA third-party called, *** was contacted to come and
check the vehicle fore the GPS - unfortunately, that contractor had an emergency and couldn't make the first appointmentThis infuriated the customer so they insisted we schedule another appointment to check their vehicle for a GPSThis times, the contractor was able to make it and they confirmed the GPS did not have a GPS deviceThe customer didn't believe this to be true because of the GPS disclosure form they signedWe apologize to our customer for all of the time they spent trying to get it removedWe respect all of our customers and we value their timeTo resolve this we would be glad to contact *** again and contract another person to confirm there is in fact no GPS in this vehicle

A refund, or a different vehicle!

Bcause now they had reported on my credit as a repo and is trying to say I caused the damage to gas tank when I bought it it has the same problem. this dealership is trying to rip me off of 1300 dollars for a wrecked car that they knew what was wrong with it when they sold it on car fax report the car was involved in two car accidents that they refused to show when asked for report I personally pulled report and paid 40 dollars for all 47 marks on that vehicle. I also have two mechanics to say this car was damaged before purchasing it and was vocal several times to dealership on issues and was blown off

On 07/05/2017 [redacted] came to Econo Auto Sales with interest in purchasing a vehicle. She wanted to trade in her [redacted] because it was in bad condition. We allowed her to choose a vehicle and she chose the [redacted].Once she chose a vehicle of her liking we proceeded to...

do her paperwork. After completing all of the paperwork, we accepted her trade and waited for her to find full coverage insurance. The customer could not afford full coverage insurance. She became very irate and spastic. She ran out the door and used her spare key to start her [redacted], and sped off of the lot.We have not heard from the customer since 07/05/2017.The title is in our possession, but has not been processed or tampered with it since we have received it. It retains all of the same information it had on 07/05/2017.    Resolution: We would be glad to schedule a time for the customer to pick up the title to her vehicle.

econo has picked up the car for servicing it and I haven't heard a response back from them I couldn't get a emissions test on 8/01/2016 It wouldn't pass and it wasn't a fuel cap that is causing the problem it leaks gas every where and I wasn't told in August that I had to take the car to their facility until I made a complaint. I work 3 jobs two are full time and one is part and I have left messages and personally talked to [redacted] so what they say are lies after trying to resolve this issue [redacted] asked for a payment when I know I'm not obligated to pay if the car isn't safe to drive. I have no problem paying for vehicle but it has been a hard time since I been renting a vehicle for over a month now. I just want the vehicle fixed so I can pay them the car payment so I can have a reliable vehicle from a dealership I thought I could trust. but I still haven't heard what is wrong with the vehicle when it was picked up Thursday morning if it was a simple fix then why haven't I heard anything yet.

The customer purchased the vehicle on 08/11/2016. We collected a down payment of $600.00. It was a down payment, not a deposit. The customer made the down payment after  completing the paperwork and signing the contract. On the date of sale the customer was notified that he is required by...

contract to obtain full coverage insurance. The vehicle was reportedly taken for emissions on 08/12/2016. There was complaint of potential emissions issues on 08/13/16. On 08/13/2016 we instructed the customer to bring in the emissions report and the vehicle. He never brought us the report or the vehicle. We also reminded the customer that we need proof of full coverage insurance and there are payments due on 08/19/2016, 08/26/2016, and 08/31/2016. The customer did make a $ 50.00 payment on 08/19/2016. After the payment was made we attempted to contact the customer about the emissions complaint, proof of full coverage insurance, the 08/26/2016 payment, and the 08/31/2016 payment. After multiple attempts to contact the customer the vehicle was assigned for repossession. The repossession company notified us that the customer did not live at the address listed on the credit application. The customer defrauded the credit company by providing a false address. The vehicle was repossessed for non-payment and no insurance. Unfortunately, we can not refund the payment because the customer failed to fulfill the contract.

Vehicle purchased: 07/27/2016. Emissions needed to be done by: 08/01/2016. Vehicle needed to be brought in to our repair facility with emissions report by: 08/01/2016. If the vehicle was brought in 08/01/2016 a repair or repurchase decision could have been made by: 08/04/2016. Econo Auto Sales takes...

pride in servicing and inspecting our vehicles prior to sale. The customer has only 3 business days beginning the day after they took possession of the vehicle to bring the vehicle back to the dealer for repairs or repurchase if it fails emissions. Econo Auto Sales is required by law to repair, pay a third party to repair, or repurchase a failed vehicle if it fails emissions. We will notify the consumer which of these three options we have chosen within three business days after the vehicle has been returned to the dealership. If the customer does not return a failed vehicle within the initial 3-day time period the dealer will be relieved of any further responsibility to repair or repurchase the vehicle for compliance with the emissions program. At no time has Econo Auto Sales refused to assist this customer. The customer’s cooperation is pertinent to the decisions Econo Auto Sale makes when considering repair/repurchase of the vehicle. Unfortunately, the customer neglected her responsibility to take the vehicle to emissions within a reasonable time frame. Months later she may or may not have taken the vehicle for emissions but she contacted the dealership about her concerns and it was simply explained to her that common reasons for emissions failure are as follows: catalytic converters, air injection systems, oxygen sensors and the most common, gas caps. Gas caps are an essential part of the vehicle’s emissions control system. A missing or leaking gas cap can cause the vehicle to fail an emissions test. Emissions facilities require a full retest when the vehicle fails for a missing or defective gas cap. Today’s date is 10/26/2016 and the customer has yet to bring in the emissions inspection report or the vehicle. Again, we would be glad to come to a resolution but the customer’s cooperation is required.

We do a 33-point inspection through a reputable mechanic on all our vehicles before selling them. Given the fact that mechanical or electronic components can fail at any time, there is no way to predict if and when something on a specific vehicle will fail, even after extensive inspection. All of...

our vehicles are sold “as is” and the customer signs an acknowledgement of that fact. We allow our customers to take any of our vehicles to a mechanic of their choice for further inspection before purchase. We offer all customers the opportunity to buy a warranty at the time of purchase.
