We have reviewed [redacted]'s response  regarding  the service  he  received.  I understand that [redacted] states he left a voicemail cancelling service after the office was closed on Friday, 3/7/14. There would have been no time to communicate to our drivers by 6:00 am on Monday that [redacted] was cancelled and Monday was his pickup day. Our drivers would have stopped to pick up at his address as he was still on their daily agenda.
[redacted] was a customer with us for a number or years and received excellent service. We do not have any previous complaints from [redacted]. As I stated in our previous letter, our customers are our top priority and we go above and beyond to accommodate them.
As a courtesy to [redacted], I have given him a credit for the balance due in the amount of $11.10.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
As previously stated, I received NO service from 02/10/14 thru 03/03/14! Econohaul acknowledges that no service was provided on 03/03/14. However, they indicate that service was provided on 03/10/14. They state that I cancelled their trash service on 03/11/14, that is categorically untrue! I called on Friday, 03/07/14 at 1:10 pm and cancelled the service via voice mail since Econohaul's office was not open at 1:10 pm in the afternoon. I did not receive trash service from Econohaul on Monday, 03/10/14; nor did I expect to receive service on 03/10/14. The service had already been cancelled!
If the individual representing Econohaul had not been SO RUDE over the telephone on 05/06/14, when I questioned the excessive billing and late fee, this matter could have easily been resolved. I have already paid for three (3) weeks of service not received; therefore, in order to resolve this issue, I am willing to pay for one (1) additional week (03/03/14) of service not received. The fee for 03/10/14 and the late fee should not apply.

In reviewing the dates in question, we do show that 2/17 was missed and that we went back and picked that up on 2/18. Our policy when we miss a customer is to go back and pick them up that day or the next day....

However, if we do not receive a call from the customer, there is no way for us to know that they were missed. There is no record that [redacted] called us regarding misses except for 2/17. There was no communication until March .
As everyone is aware this past winter was very challenging due to the number of storms we encountered. [redacted] and all of our customers were not picked up on Monday, March 3rd due to inclement weather. Our policy for inclement weather is to pick up all customers if possible. If Econo-Haul feels that our workers safety would be jeopardized in any way due to extremely icy or dangerous conditions, we will not work that day. Customers trash will be picked up on the next regular pick up day and no credits are given. Our driver did confirm that he picked up everything for [redacted] on Monday, March 10th.
[redacted] is disputing $30.00 for four weeks of service that he says he didn't receive. We do not charge that much for four weeks of service. His account was credited for $44.40 for two weeks in March & all of April. The remaining charges are $11.10 plus a $3.00 late fee equaling $14.10. We did remove the $3.00 late fee which brings the balance due to $11.10.
Our customers are our top priority and we go above and beyond to accommodate them.
We have communication regarding inclement weather in our guidelines and on our website.
We feel that with no communication prior to 2/17 and from 2/17 until March that $11.10 is still owed by [redacted]. This is for two weeks service in March and we feel this is a fair price. We did pick up everything for him on March 10th and always make every effort to ensure excellent service.

Review: The rude woman in EconoHaul's "customer service" refused to listen to my complaint! NO TRASH PICKUP FOR FOUR (4) WEEKS!!!
After canceling the so-called trash service, I received a bill for the four (4) weeks of non-service plus a late payment fee!
We received NO service on the following dates:...02/10/2014, 02/17/2014, 02/24/2014, 03/03/I called on 02/18/and spoke to
a young woman about the lack of serviceShe was polite and indicated that the snow storm around 02/10/had caused a delay and that she would
send someone to make a pickupSeveral days/weeks later still no pickup! From 02/17/to 03/04/the trash containers sat at the end
of my driveway! On 03/07/2014, Friday at 1:PM, I called Econohaul to cancel their trash serviceThe office was closed:, therefore, I left a message
on their voice mail canceling their trash serviceSubsequently, I received a bill as described above! I was unable to voice my objection to the additional
billing as the extremely rude woman I spoke to refused to listen to my complaint and indicated that the lack of service was my fault and the fault of
bad weatherShe insisted that I pay $for service not received in the month of March,plus an additional $late fee for servive not received
in the month of March, We received no trash service in the month of March, 2014, nor half of thr month of February, 2014!
She refused to respond to my claim for a refund of monies already paid for four (4) weeks of service not received and stated that she would send the bill to
a collection agency and hung up on me before I could respond !!!Desired Settlement: Acknowledge their lack of service and refund monies paid for services not receivedI would also like to see the obnoxious woman handling customer complaints fired; however, I realize that this is wishful thinking since she probably owns the so-called company and will undoubtedly receive her reward in Hell!
