I am rejecting this response because:
I'm forced to reject their response due to inconsistencies of their stories They once mentioned to me that the timing cover was really dirty and that they can change the part out for $1,but that it was not necessary to doSo since they mentioned it wasn't necessary, I chose not toI applied for credit and was approved for $through their finance company, so I believe they were offering to change that part because thy knew I had been pre-approvedThe very last visit they never once mentioned the timing cover, all that I was told was that the major issue was the water pump and that they recommended changing out the timing belt gasketI gave them the OK to change out bothOnce the repairs were all done they assured me that the car was fixed but it was the complete oppositeMy vehicle was worse! I received a phone call from one of the managers at Meineke about a week or so agoHe was upset asking why I issued a complaintWe discussed the matter and he then asked what he can do to resolve the issueI simply told him, all I ask is to either repair my car so it runs the way it should or just get it back to the way I had it, refund the money spent and I'll take it elsewhere to get it fixed rightHe said he would call me back in a little while and I never heard from him again sinceIf it is true that my car had other issues, why would they tell me time and time again that my vehicle was ready only to find more and more problemsI would have taken other measures if they would have told me from the start that my motor was the major issue, why it took other repairs to figure that out, I don't knowThat's the reason I chose to bring my car to Meineke, because they are the professionalsThis has caused unnecessary stress that my family and I do not need

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2016/07/08) */
The customer has been taken care ofThe ac is working fine
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 14, 2016/07/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Update: 7/11/
on 7/7/we noticed car
running sluggish and check engine light came on we had to stop using the ACMeineke stated the car needed a tune up ( replaced Bosch spark plugs with Delco ones) I mentioned this after work was complete that plugs had been changed in Janbut they said nothingAlso intake manifold was replaced$- invoice - ***
So after spending a total of $at Meineke since 2/9/on various parts and labor we will only be satisfied when car runs correctly for more than months and some kind of reimbursement would have been nice considering all the time and money lost on gas and driving to and from work with only car

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2016/07/18) */
I finally received my refunded after getting in contact with the representative's supervisorThe lady working my case refused to check on the status of the refund checkHer supervisor found out it was mailed to the wrong address***
customer service
