Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I would have considered this complaint closed if the response of My Gorilla Garage was an apology, if My Gorilla Garage does not seal the gap between the garage floor slab and the concrete walls due to expansion and contraction, which wasn't the case with my floor, then why did the salesman say it would seal it? My Gorilla Garage did not give an accurate representation of their finished product***, the installation manager was rude in his response to my inquiry, assuming he knew the details of the installation and construction of my garage floor [redacted] was assuming the area I was referring to was an expansion joint, which it is definitely notI am satisfied with the gap being filled, I am not happy or satisfied with the overall finish of the floorI do not want any further contact with My Gorilla Garage as this has taken far too much time to resolve, I consider this case resolved but I am not the least bit happy Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may Concern,Although, My Gorilla Garage does not seal the gap between the garage floor slab and the concrete walls due to expansion and contraction, same reason we do not fill in expansion joints or saw cuts, we did in fact go to Mr. [redacted]`s home and seal the area in question and Mr....

[redacted] is happy with the end result.

I understand that they have given me my money back, but it does not make my salon open any sooner.  I had it lined up, floor installation, plumbing, then inspection.  It also does not bring back my credit score.  If I had known in the first place that they were unable to do the floor as I was told, then I would have gone a whole other route to begin with and not applied for financing.  This has set me back a few weeks, and doors being closed means loss of profits, loss of clients and all in all, a general loss of business.  If they're not going to go by what their reps come out and see as a doable floor, then maybe they should have their installers go out and truly assess the situation and not go by another mans opinions.  Two weeks, they had TWO weeks to determine if the floor was doable before they came out.  I felt and still feel shammed by this company, and I can see that I am NOT the only one.  No, I do not accept their response.  I feel blown off.

Upon arrival to Mr. [redacted]`s home on 9-22-2016, my installation team noticed an issue with an area of floor that Mr. [redacted] is complaining about. The issue was a large "Hump" in the floor that was 1 1/2 feet wide and the entire width of his floor which was almost 20ft wide. The installation team...

immediately called the office and spoke to myself, the Owner of My Gorilla Garage and advised me of the situation. I then asked to speak to Mr. [redacted] which my crew leader handed the phone to him and we spoke in great length about what the options are in order for us to coat his garage floor. I specifically told him that there was no way we could fix the pre-existing issue with his floor and basically offered to Mr. [redacted] 2 options. First option is we would pack up our tools and equipment and we would part ways and I would happily return his deposit. Second option was that we we do our absolute best to make his floor look as good as we possibly could considering there was already a huge "Hump" in the floor and we could not fix that as we do not level floors, we coat them. He was clearly told his options before any work begun and he agreed to let us work on the floor and do the best we could. We proceeded to get to work and we did the best we could with what we had to work with. We completed the floor, he signed a completion certificate stating he was happy with the work we performed and Mr. [redacted] wrote a check for the balance due of $2,100.  Just about a week later, Mr. [redacted] called the office to complain that he still wasn't happy with his floor? If you weren't happy then please explain why you signed a completion certificate stating you were happy with everything AND you wrote a check for the final balance due???We proceeded to set up a service call for Saturday Oct. 1st to go out and look at his floor and see what we can possibly do to try and remedy the issue as we dont want any unhappy customers and we strive to do our absolute best to take care of every one of our customers. My team went to Mr. [redacted]`s home, worked on his floor some more and after the installation team finished up the work he told them he was very happy. My Production Manager, [redacted], called and spoke to Mr. [redacted] on Monday Oct. 3rd at 1:01pm and asked if he was satisfied with the extra work we did at his house at absolutely no charge to the the customer and he stated he was very happy. So now you have not only told our company representatives that you were happy with the floor coating and all the work we did, TWICE, you also signed a completion certificate stating you were happy AND you wrote us a check for the balance due and 3 months later, without any further contact with our company, office, any of our representatives, etc. you just decide to go ahead and file a complaint with the Revdex.com and you are trying to "Strong arm" and bully your way to satisfaction by wanting me to pay you $2,000 of the total contract amount of $3,000 and ask that we only give you a 5 year warranty on your floor???? I mean seriously? You were specifically told BEFORE any work started that we could not fix your huge hump in your floor and you specifically told us to go ahead and proceed with the work. Wow! I am just appalled that you just think its ok to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, which goes on my permanent record with the Revdex.com instead of trying to call our company and see if there would be anything further we could do to assist you with your needs?Mr. [redacted], we installed over 900 floors in 2016 and I realize every now and again we are going to have that ONE customer which we bent over backwards for, explained everything up front before any work started, exactly what was going to happen and we even came back out a second time to continue to do our absolute best to make you happy,(which for the 2nd time you said you were completely happy and you also signed our service work order which means you were happy) and we even made a follow up phone call with you two days later on Monday morning to ensure you are happy and apparently you still are not happy?  Here is my offer to you...$500 check and you have no further contact with our company regarding anything at all to do with your floor.

Mr. [redacted],  We can go back and forth until we are both blue in the face and it appears both parties will not be satisfied? My final offer to you is I will give you a check for $1500 but we will at that point part ways. Your warranty from our company will be terminated and you will no longer have any further contact with our company. You will also have no further contact with any other agency regarding your alleged claims which I find mostly false but like I said, it appears both parties will never be satisfied. Final offer - $1500 check and no further contact with our organization.
