This email serves as our response to the above referenced complaint filed against us: This customer sent us American coins (nickels) that were made of base metals. His statement that they are 90% silver is incorrect. A simple google search can prove that no nickels ever struck contained 90%...

silver. Many American coins prior to 1964 contained 90% silver, but pennies and nickels were excluded from that, as the following link will verify. [redacted]. Customer service means a great deal to Garfield Refining and we are very accessible. We have tried to call this customer several times to address his concerns, but he has no voicemail set up. Review: I came to this company on April 28, 2016 because my car was overheating, my coolant light would come on and my car would leak water,I informed the worker there off all of this, they said they would do a coolant diagnostic, when they called me with the problem, they said the sensor was bad and that my resovoir cap needed to be replaced, I was amazed that that was all, I don't know how that would fix the water leaking but okay, their professionals, they know what their talking about so he tells me $ 300.00 for the sensor, the coolant and the cap, it seemed a little to high for something that small but I paid it, well days later the coolant light came back on the car started to leak water and it started overheating, I took it back and said nothing got fixed I'm having the same problems I did before I came here, he tried to convince me that these were new problems, I said no these are the same problems I been having and why I came here in the first place, so he charged me for another diagnostic because he said they were different problems, which me and my father explained to him they weren't, after taking to my dad he eventually took away the charge for the diagnostic, but I didn't receive any type of refund for the 300.00 I spent there, because those were not the problems that were wrong with my car, after he did the second diagnostic it was found that I need a new thermostat, a new radiator and a new water resevoir which will come up to a little over 800.00 dollars, I felt like they totally took advantage of me and scammed 300.00 dollars out of me, the guy I was dealing with is named [redacted]. When I went there the first time, the guy who looked at my car who I told whats wrong with it was named [redacted], and when I came back to tell them its doing the same thing, the person I dealt with who wanted to charge me again for the diagnostic and who tried to convince me I was having new problems was named [redacted] LN, he is also the guy who rang me up for the 300.00 charge.Desired Settlement: $ 300.00
