This is only a preliminary response to update the file, as we have been unsuccessful in connecting with the client. The daytime phone number has a recording that says the the person being called "is unable to receive calls at this time." We made several attempts, both yesterday and today, to reach the customer at this number, resulting in the same recording each time.We left a message yesterday and another message today at the evening number, asking the customer to return our call to discuss the matter and work toward resolution. We sent an email to the customer earlier today, asking the customer to call us to discuss the matter and work toward resolutionPreliminarily on our end, but keeping in mind that we have yet to discuss the matter with the customer:Our records do not reflect any notification by the customer that the vehicle is pulling or mis-performing in any other fashion. Our records indicate that the tires were worn out and, thus, recommended for replacementThe wear pattern on the tires indicated an alignment problem, so and alignment was also recommended, approved, and performedWe showed the worn tires to the customerWe assume that's why the customer, in her Revdex.com complaint, states that she is not disputing the payment she made for the new tires. Our invoice reflects that only $of the entire amount paid represents the alignment, where as the rest of the invoice amount paid was for the tiresSo we're a bit confused as to why the customer is requesting a refund $when, in the complaint, she states that she is not disputing the amount that she paid for the tiresWe're hoping the glean clarification on this point when we ultimately make contact with the customer.Again, this case is still a work in progress for us and this narrative is not a final disposition of the complaint

Finally, made contact with the customer and resolved this issue$of the bill paid by the customer was for a wheel alignmentWe have agreed to issue and the customer has agreed to accept a refund of this $95, being that the customer no longer owns the vehicleThe wheel alignment was the only service we performed that can potentially contribute to the "pulling" that the customer describedOrdinarily in such a situation, we would invite the customer to bring the vehicle back to correct any potential problems with the alignmentBecause the customer no longer has the vehicle, we gave her the benefit of the doubt, as to the cause of the pulling, and refunded the $Refund Check Nowas mailed to the customer

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/31) */
We rotated the tires on this vehicle each and every time it came in for service, except for the most recent visitAt this most recent visit we noted and advised the customer that the tires were worn and needed replacement and that's why we did
not rotate themAll of this is well documented and, each time, the customer was provided paperwork and the opportunity to inspect the vehicle with the technician
During the most recent visit on 08/15, the customer - Ms*** *** - was invited out to the shop and shown that the tires were worn low and that the wear was pretty evenEven wear IS NOT consistent with poor tire maintenance, such as lack of tire rotation of which we are being falsely accusedThe customer at that point told us she would return to the place where she purchased the tires(She told us where she purchased her tires, but we will not name this business in this response, as we believe in remaining classy and having integrity)
However, we find it peculiar and insulting that this tire shop where Ms*** went would accuse us of wrongdoingWe respectfully and vehemently disagree with their assessment of the cause of tire wearBut we ask ourselves, what else are they going to say to get out of replacing these tires under warranty, if there even is a warranty after 38,miles driven?
PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN WE SERVICED THIS VEHICLE ON 08/15/IT HAD 73,MILES ON ITTHIS MEANS THAT 38,MILES AGO WHEN THE TIRES WERE REPLACED, THE VEHICLE HAD APPROXIMATELY 35,MILES ON ITONE CAN EASILY SEE THE PATTERN OF THIS VEHICLE NEEDING NEW TIRES ABOUT EVERY 35,MILES OR SOCLEARLY THIS IS MERELY DUE TO DRIVING CONDITIONS AND PATTERNS AND HAS NOTHING TO DUE WITH THE SERVICES WE PERFORMED
Candidly, while we wish no Revdex.com complaints to be filed on any business, we find it both curious and insulting that Ms*** and *** *** would choose to falsely accuse us and file this complaint rather than file the complaint against the tire shop that failed to stand behind its tires
In conclusion, we sincerely feel bad that The *** had this problem with their tiresHowever, after careful consideration and examination we determined without a doubt that our shop did nothing wrongWith the interest of customer goodwill in mind, we offered Ms*** a tire replacement at a deeply discounted priceShe declined our offer and chose to go back to the tire shopWe did not hear back until this complaintThat being said, we ARE NOT responsible for this unfortunate situation and, therefore, cannot offer anything more than the discount we already offered
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I can appreciate their response and the fact that they go by what's documented on their end and that's fineWe cannot argue with "documentation." As far as the offer to replace the tires at a "deep" discount that is such a lie, as the only thing the attendant said to me was that the tires were worn and showed me and asked me if I wanted him to check what price he could get the tires forNever did he say "we can give you a deep discount on your tires", how could he offer me a deep discount without knowing how much the tires even cost? I am appauled that they would even say that, fact is that we do not trust themAnd as far as not reporting the tire company we feel they had nothing to do with the scenario and it was our mistake and fault for trusting Mieneke to take care of our tire services when we should have gone to the tire company to avoid this conflict with MienekeAlso never at Mieneke had they mentioned tire wear AT ALL to us prior to this last visit, if they "find" documentation otherwise then again we cannot argue with that now can we??? One employee there says one thing and another employee says another thingHow "great" custoner service is that? We were loyal customers but after all this we will be seeking services elsewhere with more dependable customer serviceThere is nothing further we want or expect from Mieneke because it is obviously clear that their customer service is based on whats documented as "beijg done" in their records rather than being honest in their own mistakes and working or helping the customerI will definately make sure I do not refer their services to anyone I know so they do not have to go through the same ordealThank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

Finally, made contact with the customer and resolved this issue. $95 of the bill paid by the customer was for a wheel alignment. We have agreed to issue and the customer has agreed to accept a refund of this $95, being that the customer no longer owns the vehicle. The wheel alignment was the only service we performed that can potentially contribute to the "pulling" that the customer described. Ordinarily in such a situation, we would invite the customer to bring the vehicle back to correct any potential problems with the alignment. Because the customer no longer has the vehicle, we gave her the benefit of the doubt, as to the cause of the pulling, and refunded the $95. Refund Check No. 122971 was mailed to the customer.

This is only a preliminary response to update the file, as we have been unsuccessful in connecting with the client. The daytime phone number has a recording that says the the person being called "is unable to receive calls at this time." We made several attempts, both yesterday and today, to reach...

the customer at this number, resulting in the same recording each time.We left a message yesterday and another message today at the evening number, asking the customer to return our call to discuss the matter and work toward resolution. We sent an email to the customer earlier today,  asking the customer to call us to discuss the matter and work toward resolution. Preliminarily on our end, but keeping in mind that we have yet to discuss the matter with the customer:Our records do not reflect any notification by the customer that the vehicle is pulling or mis-performing in any other fashion. Our records indicate that the tires were worn out and, thus, recommended for replacement. The wear pattern on the tires indicated an alignment problem, so and alignment was also recommended, approved, and performed. We showed the worn tires to the customer. We assume that's why the customer, in her Revdex.com complaint, states that she is not disputing the payment she made for the new tires. Our invoice reflects that only $99 of the entire amount paid represents the alignment, where as the rest of the invoice amount paid was for the tires. So we're a bit confused as to why the customer is requesting a refund $231.94 when, in the complaint, she states that she is not disputing the amount that she paid for the tires. We're hoping the glean clarification on this point when we ultimately make contact with the customer.Again, this case is still a work in progress for us and this narrative is not a final disposition of the complaint.
