When I went into the business, my right tail light was working just fine But, the brake light was out After installing a new bulb for the brake light, the tail light no longer worked I asked them to switch it back and they basically called me a liar and told me that there was no way that the tail light was working when I came in They were also very unprofessional The guy that checked me in, kept calling me "sweetheart" By the end of the experience, I was completely frustrated and exasperated There were guys trying to fix one brake/tail bulb Quite ineptI wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy

I purchased one of the company's "SUPER SAVER" promotional cards, and was told on my 3rd attempt to use it for a "FREE" oil change (January 27th, 2015), that the earliest I could get an "appointment" for this service was not until March 18th (over days away) This tells me that they have purposely "oversold" these cards, making it extremely difficult if not almost impossible to use effectively and get appointments within a reasonable period of timeThis in effect nullifies any original perceived benefit when the card is sold

I went to econo lube n' tune to have a brake problem fixed on my carI was told it would take 40minutes to an hour for my vehicle to be fixedTwo hours later the part had not even arrived yetWhen I questioned the person whom quoted me te time and price he said that it would be there shortlyI told him that I was now minutes late to work and I still needed to drop off my car seat to my mother-in-law so she could pick up my son for school that gets out a hour from that timeHe said as soon as the part gets there he would work on itI asked him how long it would take to put the old piece back on so I could leave and he stated minutesWhen asked if it would take that long to put the new piece on he said no but that it what I am going to charge you to put the old one on so you might as well wait for the new oneI would never recommend any place that tries to strong arm a customer that has already waited over twice the quoted timeWorst customer service I have ever receivedI also hope this is not the type of place that gets accredited by the Revdex.com

I went to econo lube n' tune to have a brake problem fixed on my car. I was told it would take 40minutes to an hour for my vehicle to be fixed. Two hours later the part had not even arrived yet. When I questioned the person whom quoted me te time and price he said that it would be there shortly. I told him that I was now 30 minutes late to work and I still needed to drop off my car seat to my mother-in-law so she could pick up my son for school that gets out a hour from that time. He said as soon as the part gets there he would work on it. I asked him how long it would take to put the old piece back on so I could leave and he stated 45 minutes. When asked if it would take that long to put the new piece on he said no but that it what I am going to charge you to put the old one on so you might as well wait for the new one. I would never recommend any place that tries to strong arm a customer that has already waited over twice the quoted time. Worst customer service I have ever received. Review: earlier this year we went to the econo tune and lube on 19th avenue and bell to have the brakes on our ford flex serviced. we spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 365$ to have ceramic brakes installed on my Ford Flex per the sales reps recommendation. Since then I have returned 2x to that location while under the warranty period specified to have my brakes reexamined for loud squealing and grinding noises. Both times I was told that my brakes were double checked my pads were resurfaced and that my rotors were turned down. the last time I went in the counter rep told me that well some brakes are going to squeal no matter what you do. While there the last time I also explained that we were leaving state and moving to AR because a) this is my wifes car which she uses to transport our family with and B) we would have no way to get our vehicle reserviced sfter that point in time. Now were in early june and the brakes on my wifes car sounds like the lure at the dog track. I am highly dissapointed because econo tune & lube serviced my parents vehicles and always did a great job for them. Now I'm out of warranty 1500 miles away and have to replace my brakes again because someone sidestepped fixing it right the first time. I understand people make mistakesbut it should be made right. The local shop here in West Memphis says that they would never recommend ceramic pads for that model because they are noisy and easily developgrinding noisesdo to dirt and dust buildup.Desired Settlement: Pay for cost or replacement pads and installation by qualified professional locally. Review: My vehicle was at the repair shop for 2 years I was in contact with [redacted]e several times updating him on my financial situation and providing him my address and phone number. [redacted]e never called me or sent me a Notice of Lien Sale by certified mail as required by law and disposed of my vehicle 6 months to 1 year ago not filling out the proper documents with the DMV and not notifying me, the registered owner and the Finance company Wells Fargo Dealer Services to whom I had a balance and to whom has the title to the vehicle. I already filed a complaint with the BAR and DMV Investigations. I was instructed by the Bureau of Automotive Repair to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. Many violations were preformed by [redacted]e and the repair shop and I asked [redacted]e about contacting me and he said he called me and mailed me and to check with the DMV, which I did and there is nothing from him on file with the DMV as to a Lien Release. He can not tell me who he sold or gave the vehicle to and he did not store my personal belongings he said "it was trash". I am requesting you investigate this complaint and respond to me as to your finding of the complaint. Thank you.Desired Settlement: To be shut down for not following proper business codes and following state law. [redacted]e, never sent me an invoice for storage or contacted me by mail or phone to come pick up the vehicle before getting rid of the vehicle.

Dear Mr. [redacted],

I am [redacted], owner of DNZ Automotive Inc. dba Econo Lube'N Tune & Brakes at 1550 Newport Blvd. Costa

Mesa CA 92627, you visited earlier today.

I left you a voicemail around 3pm today, regarding the silver Chevrolet Malibu. Please reach me here if there is

anything I can do.

In very short, the vehicle was towed in or dropped off late 2010 or early 2011 . Customer declined the work, asked

me to keep the vehicle for a week or two. Then approved the work over the phone, which I told her clearly was not

worth repairing and she should get a new vehicle, she insisted at which point I told her she needs to come and put

a deposit for the head gasket replacement job, she called couple more times saying she will send the check etc ...

Of course never received a check OR she never stopped by to the best of our knowledge. I tried to reach her at the

number she called us from: 949-481-5686 to let her know we need to get rid of the vehicle, of course no response.

We desperately needed the space so we had to park it on the street and in order for her not to incur parking

penalties, I called a tow truck off of Craigslist to get it picked up, next day it wasnt there. This was about 9 months

to a year ago. I personally checked the vehicle out when it arrived and there was only trash in the vehicle, nothing

valuable or personal.

Also, she told us her last name was Diekman, not Votava at that time.

Our posted storage rate is $15/day minimum.

If you can forward me her exact complaint, I'll respond with an official response.

I believe I've been more than reasonable over the course of events and you can probably see my shop's perfect

history with BAR and our repuatation among customers by checking online.

All said, I reserve the right to bill her all storage fees for the time the vehicle was stored at this location, it was over

for over 2 years, at the rate of $15/day minimum!

Best Regards
