silverMany American coins prior to contained 90% silver, but pennies and nickels were excluded from that, as the following link will verify. ***. Customer service means a great deal to Garfield Refining and we are very accessible. We have tried to call this customer several times to address his concerns, but he has no voicemail set upHe has also not responded to our attempt to reach him via emailHis material has been returned to him free of charge.
