Economic Enviro Techs, Inc.

I hired Economic Enviro Techs, Inc. in December of 2010 to have both my upper and lower porches replaced and rebuilt. I was told I could not use a Trex product so had to go ahead with Fur for the flooring. The rebuild took from October till to December to finish, the crew worked few days though I was told that the whole process would only take a week. Then the following spring I started noticing problems with the flooring on both floors. Water was pooling and the finish they had put on had not absorbed into the wood to protect it over the winter. I contacted the Economic Enviro Techs, Inc. about the flooring and by September of 2011 the caps of my vinyl railings were popping off, to come and address these issues. The [redacted] came and attempted to put the caps back on and secure them , which only stayed on for about another year before I had to duct tape them in place. The flooring he sent a crew member to put another coat of stain on it. That stain did not hold and the following winter it was peeling off. This sfall 2013 I had another Company in to look at the situation and fix the problem. What I learned was horrific. My porches would have not lasted another 2 years! The screws were not galvanized steele nor were they made for exterior use and they had rotted nothing had been water sealed, the framing was out of line and the worst part was I could have had the Trex material all along avoiding the whole treating the wood floor. The railings were not secured properly nor was the ceiling soffit , in fact at one point in 2011 2 pieces of the ceiling soffit had come undone and [redacted] wouldn't even come and secure them without charging us $100.00 for his time. This [redacted] should not be in the building business, he does not know enough about the materials he uses nor does he keep his attention on his crew.Desired SettlementI want a formal complaint filed against this company, and for him to have to answer to The Revdex.com.ureau
