Economy Glass Tinting Reviews (%countItem)

I was quoted $129 to window tint my vehicle to include all windows and windshield. When I went to pay, they were charging me an additional $95 dollars for the windshield. I stated that was not what I was quoted. They apologized and stated that was the price. I was not happy and stated to take the windshield off I would not pay that and restated that was not what I was quoted in the e-mail. I could have gone elsewhere and had the entire car done for $140. I was to have the entire car done here for $129. This bait and switch is unacceptable and unethical.

Explanation of event
Hello, this is Belinda C
Owner of Economy Glass Tinting
This is an explanation ofan event of a misread email. *** contacted our company
by email stating he was interested in a price of service for glass tinting on his 2015 Ford Mustang.
In this email he States," can you give me a price to tint all windows in a 2015 Ford Mustang to
include the windshield with the darkest legal window tint, and do you include multi card
discounts."
In answering his email I gave him a price for a legal full car installiation, without the whole
windshield. With this price it covers both doors, back side panels, back glass and include a
windshield strip (Which is a 7-inch strip at the top of the windshield) that's normally extra.
Also offering this discount for his second car, which we did not charge for a windshield strip
that's a $40 value for both vehicles. At the end of the appointment we then learned and realize he
wanted a different process than a windshield strip, instead to add his full windshield. (This
application is new to the industry and therefore, was not clear in his email.)
Our secretary and installer explained this to ***, and due to the extra time and
material there would be an added cost to the original price quoted... *** disagreed and insisted that the price did include a full windshield and refuse to understand, therefore becoming
very difficult and persistent to his wants! Our staff tried satisfying *** with multiple
discounts with hopes to work out this misunderstanding. My office contacted me, notifying me of the mistake, where l then contacted ***. I tried to apologize and explain, where this misread email and misunderstanding took place.
And that the full windshield install was different service and that the standard 7 inch
windshield strip. That the whole windshield was a total different process requiring more time and
expense. lt was very clear *** did not want to see things the same, and insisted on
making false accusations and bullying us into giving him this service.
Even after several apologies and offering many discounts, trying to be diplomatic,*** went on an attacking our business on every review page he could surface.
Quoting, "we were Crooks, liars and for no one to use our company that we did terrible work."
Even though the workmanship on his car was obviously quality work or he would have had
reason to bring it back with his life time manufactured warranty.
In no way were we trying to mistreat *** or mislead him in any way it was just a
human error from a miscommunication. I'm sure in ***'s mind, he was clear of his own
wants, but in our business and terms of legal procedures a 7-inch windshield is different than a
full windshield install. We feel his attacks on us were malicious and he was bullying us, because
we are a woman-owned business, in way of getting what he wanted for free. His false reviews has
now cost us several customers, revenue, future jobs, plus loss of time and money. Our family
owned and operated business has been serving our community tor over 39 years with a long list
of satisfied customers. We do not see any advantages or any fairness, in having to give *** any free applications on his automobiles.
*** received a full standard tintjob on his 2015 Ford Mustang ( to include a
lifetime manufacturer's warranty ) and even giving him discounts, plus paying his taxes, to make
up for any confusions. We did not offer or install the free windshield strip because he cancelled
the appointment of his second car, for the Ford Fusion. Attached is copies of emails and reviews
for proof of this action. We regret, *** feels he has, had a bad experience and we do hope
his next future glass tinting installation is a little more clear and suitable to his liking.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept their response. The request was clear and the company quoted a price. The response is not accurate. The installer was installing the windshield tint when I went to pay. So, it was clear to everyone except the owner after the fact. I told the installer to remove the entire windshield tint because I would not pay the additional $95 they were trying to charge me after the fact. This is not an honest business. I was quoted a price and the company should have completed the job as quoted. I expect a refund of $95 so I may get the windshield tinted at a reputable tinting company.

We as a business will not comply to free product and free material.
Especially with any customer That demands and maliciously attacks thru social media.
This was an issue much greater than a written
misunderstanding
We tried to reach out to handle this in a civil manner, but instead, now having to peruse this through, Revdex.com, tax authorities,
Also, through his faults misleading reviews and and attacks. We do not see the benefit to his comply. This action could and should have been handle with more class and better understand

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It definitely could have been handled better and with class by the business. They should have performed to the quote but they refused. They are a bait and switch company misleading their customers and that is not acceptable. They did not perform the service quoted in the email provided period. This is not an honorable business and they refused to perform to stated quote. They need to be held accountable for their nasty immoral business tactics.
