leak. There were open bricks and cracks in the masonry brick wall in the rear of the house. The wall should be inspected by a masonry contractor as well as have any resultant repair work preformed that is found.
We also found a satellite T.V. dish antenna mounted on the roof in the rear of the property. The installers of the dish antenna drilled through the roofing material we installed, subsequently putting holes in the roof. We suggest removing the dish from the roof deck and repairing the area damaged.
Prior to our original install Ms. [redacted] had another dish antenna installed that was causing leaks and we suggested at that time to remove it. Ms. [redacted] had us remove the old antenna and we did as well as suggesting that she not mount any antennas on the deck of the roof. A better location would be to mount the antenna on the masonry wall and we noted that on the contract.
We contacted Ms. [redacted] and apprised her of our findings, the response from her was not pleasant but we continued to remain professional. We explained that we took pictures and would be willing to send her a copy if she liked and we did just that. We also offered to fix the holes the TV. Dish installers made once she had the dish removed and we would make these repairs at no cost to her. Ms. [redacted] continued to argue and disagree with our findings and finally hung up the phone prior to the conclusion of our conversation.
Finally, other than the stated problems, her roof is in good condition and free of leaks.
Please feel free to contact me if there is any further information I can provide. Enclosed please find a copy of the original job sheet and recent pictures.
