We signed a contract in May 2012 with this contractor to build a pool. A week prior, our next door neighbor did as well. Construction started in early June on both our pools. He walked off of both our jobs in mid-August. Gunite was blown on both pools, but electrical, pool equipment installation, plumbing, plaster, tile work and decking were incomplete/had not even begun. We had to end up paying the gunite and electrical contractors AFTER we had already paid the pool contractor for those line items. In an attempt to make amends, he promised us pool service at no cost for the first 18 months after the pool was complete. It lasted 3 months. By December, he and his wife had rented a house out of the country. (Mexico or Belize?)
