In regards to the complaint below, I had sent the following email relating to the case and the attachment that was forwarded by her to us as "proof" that we cashed her check was not correct. We have no record of this and the information on the back does not corroborate with any account we have with...

BOFA. We also contacted our BOFA rep to have them look and check and came back that this was not deposited into an eCosway account at all but rather seems to be her payment to a Bank of America account/mortgage payment. I hope you received where I copied you on the response back to the woman in question ([redacted]). Thank you for getting back to me and please see my response below relating to her case:
As I copied Arlena on the response (below along with attachments) to the person who filed the claim, she [redacted]) provided a check that was not made payable to eCosway nor do we have records of ever accepting payment from her or the other person noted on her paperwork in the account relating to the store location in question (Mesa, AZ). We have not heard back since the last email below. I wanted to give her the opportunity to produce another copy of a check without accusing her of providing the wrong check. We are waiting to see what (if anything) comes back from her but as mentioned - through our records it appears as though she did indeed qualify for a store and unfortunately, construction was not even started on that particular store for roughly 5 months after she hit the qualifications and signed the paperwork and signed off on the build out. Towards the end of the 5 month time frame, it seems as though she threw in the figurative towel growing frustrated that we had hold ups in getting the store built and the lease finalized (which as you may know can happen when dealing with other tenants and leasing agents...et ceterea) and left us without an Operator for the store. We quickly found a replacement operator to run the store who had met their qualifications and awarded him the store after she walked away from it (and after us not being able to convince her to stay). The replacement Operator is the only person we have shown in the account relating to the Mesa, AZ store that had made the $2,000 security deposit for Store Operators once awarded.
Again, if we receive information to the contrary from her that proves that we cashed a check she had written to eCosway, we will gladly write her the payment of $2,000 to pay her back as we never hold on to deposits when someone decides they are not interested at the last minute or must resign from being a Store Operator after any point of running their store. This $2,000 (for reference) is used as a security deposit and once we do final inventory for the store after resignation (as well as before the replacement operator starts) and determine and product they are short/over, the deposit is given back to the Operator (less any discrepancies that cannot be accounted for after discussing and presenting to the Store Operator).
Also, I should add that the qualification process to be qualified for a store (at that time) was to purchase products and eV (eCosway Volume) which she definitely did. With those purchases though, she would have received compensation for the purchases her and her down lines made (as it works in all network marketing companies). We did not present false hope or false promises to her as once she hit the target, we did award her the store location but unfortunately there were some hold ups in getting the store built out and the lease finalized and sadly this was not satisfactory to her.
If we hear back from her I will definitely send any information over but I wanted to be upfront and give you the account as we have after looking through her files, bank records, and our legal council who was and is on our team from the beginning. The F rating on the Revdex.com is very very serious to us even though it is for just 2 claims - we pride ourselves on Customer Service and to ensure we have a positive reputation in the industry that we have built as one of the top network marketing companies across the world for the past 35 years.
Separately, I would love to learn more about Revdex.com accreditation so that we can continue to strive for a high ranking within the organization. My hope is that once this one is cleared up, we can go back to the rating that we have worked so hard for and that truly represents our brand and business globally.

Review: I signed a contract with eCosway on September 11, 2011, in which I was promised a retail store location in exchange for large purchases of their goods and also required in-person training and certification. A $2000 deposit was also given to eCosway in October of 2011. Upon completion of the above, in February 2012, eCosway forced me to sign a new contract with different terms. When I refused to sign it, my original application for the retail store was not granted. I also did not receive a refund of the $2000 deposit.

Review: Requested a refund from eCosway when products were not as described.

I am writing in regards to the purchase I made at the eCosway store in Ormond Beach, Florida.

The manager/owner of this store used high pressure sales tactics, convincing me that certain products were Organic, and I bought these products. I was very excited to try what she said were natural and gentle products which would repair and enhance my skin.

Unfortunately, instead of enhancing my skin, these product served to irritate my skin to the point where I had to visit a physician . The physician recommended some medication which cleared up the problem in a few days.

Imagine my surprise and shock when I checked the actual ingredients and found that not only were the products not Organic but that they were in fact full of harsh chemicals and artificial substances.

I returned to the store later to check why the manager described the products as Organic, and at that time, the store owner's son also described the products as Organic. When I asked him what that meant, he was unable to answer, and then tried to downplay his assertion.

I then filled out two lengthy forms and waited for over 30 minutes while the son argued with his mother on the phone -- she obviously wanted to come back to the store and try to talk me out of returning the products.

Next, after filling out all the necessary paperwork, and keeping copies for myself, I left the store.

To my surprise, I next received several voicemail messages where the owner indicated I would not get my refund because I had not filled out the paperwork properly. The papers were filled out properly, but the owner did not process the refund.

I therefore courteously requested a refund for product I purchased. After this initial request, I called customer service twice to follow up.

EAch time customer service told me that they apologized and that they would process my refund, but nothing came of it after the time they promised I would receive it.

A few times, the customer service representative attempted to delay matters by saying that I had not sent the proper paperwork, or that the correct products had not been returned. Each time, I referred them to earlier emails I had sent with scans of the material.

I believe now that eCosway's policies, or at least the empoyees at customer service, result in customers not getting their refunds that were requested because of being dissatisfied with products, and request that Revdex.com follow up with the company to find out if in fact this is the case.

-thanks

-**Desired Settlement: First, I would like my refund processed.

Second, I would like the company, if they are so inclined, to discipline the store owner so that she will no longer represent products as Organic that are clearly not Organic.

I do not desire to ever do business with this company, and do not wish to return to the store for this refund.
